ネルを完成させて行く。

ところで、従来のあゆみ板は、シールド工事におけるセ
グメント長(枕木ピッチ)が考慮されておらず、しかも
長尺(3〜4m)であるため、製品長以上掘り進まなけれ
ば坑内先端部にあゆみ板を布設することができず布設作
業効率が悪く、それに加えて坑内先端部の足場の安全が
確保できないという問題があった。また、木製のあゆみ
板は、端部を重ね合わせてラップすることにより連接し
て布設しているため、ラップ箇所にあゆみ板の厚み相当
分(21〜40mm)の段差が生じて歩行時の転倒事故につな
がるとともに、ラップ箇所を枕木上に設定しなければ天
秤事故の原因となるため、製品長に対して布設有効長に
ロスが生じて布設効率が悪く、しかも、滑り止めを施す
ことが困難であるため、水を含んだ土砂等が付着すると
滑りによる転倒事故の虞れがあった。次に、鋼製及び合
成樹脂製のあゆみ板は、端部を挿し込みにより連接して
いるため、木製のあゆみ板のような段差による転倒事故
や製品長に対する布設有効長のロス等をなくすることが
できるが、坑内途中での清掃・測量用ポイントの確認時
に途中のものを一時取外すことが困難であり、清掃に手
間が掛り、測量用ポイント設置箇所については布設が困
難であるとともに、それぞれ滑り止めの工夫がなされて
いるが充分な効果が得られるまでに到っていない。更
に、合成樹脂製のあゆみ板は、転用時のジョイント部の
補修が困難であり、転用効率が悪くて製品価格が高く現
場コストが上がる。

ンジ部を挟持することにより歩み板を枕木に固定してジ
ョイントするようにしたものである。
