The present invention relates to a veneer veneer drying device,
More specifically, while transporting veneer veneer (hereinafter simply referred to as veneer) in the same direction (parallel direction) as the fiber, it is dried by blowing hot air through a blowing device such as a blowing box or blowing nozzle. The present invention relates to a hot air ventilation type drying device.

Conventionally, what has been practically used as a drying device of this type is mainly one in which a pair of upper and lower conveying rolls are arranged in parallel in parallel at a given interval to sandwich and convey a single plate. It has the advantage of requiring almost no maintenance or management except for lubrication of the bearings for the upper transport rolls and wear of the bearings for the upper transport rolls. It is often used for drying mainly for standard size veneer.

However, the substance of the conventional device is only to locally press the veneer by utilizing the own weight of the upper conveying rolls, and does not restrain the veneer between the pair of conveying rolls at all. Yes, and as a result, the veneer was restrained in a very unstable / uneven state, so shrinkage when dried without restraining at all (usually 6-10 in the direction orthogonal to the fiber) It is unavoidable that contraction close to (%) occurs or sporadic occurrence of large cracks that require excision, and also distortion (waviness) caused by contraction error occurs. Not a few, there is a drawback that significantly deteriorates the yield and quality of veneers, and in particular due to the change in the amount of shrinkage accompanying changes in the material of veneers, there is an excess or deficiency in the width of dried standard size veneers. It is fatal that the plywood that is formed later may be defective. It was not servants excellent practicality.

The present invention was developed in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional device, and based on a technical idea different from that of the conventional device, the whole surface of the veneer is dispersively restrained uniformly at a number of points. By controlling the shrinkage due to drying as much as possible, many fine cracks are regularly generated, thereby avoiding the manifestation of shrinkage, cracking, distortion, etc. Regarding the practical aspects of the device, it does not cost much to form each one,
Moreover, the practicality of the device is impaired by adopting a rational configuration that organically combines a plurality of members whose shapes are simplified so that maintenance and management for dealing with wear and damage can be simplified. It is intended not to be.

According to the device having such a configuration, since the veneer is stabbed and conveyed, the whole surface of the veneer is dispersively and uniformly restrained at a large number of points so that shrinkage due to drying can be performed. It is possible to prevent the occurrence of shrinkage, cracking, distortion, etc., because it is possible to regularly generate a number of minute cracks starting from the puncture scratches by the piercing body of the piercing conveyor. It is possible to improve the yield and quality of veneer. Of course, by controlling shrinkage as much as possible, even if the material of the veneer changes, the amount of shrinkage hardly changes, and there is no excess or deficiency in the width of the dried standard length veneer.
The plywood molded later is not likely to be defective, and is significantly more effective than the conventional device.

In addition, since each member constituting the device is simplified on the premise of organic coupling, it does not cost much to form, and in particular, it has a piercing body with the highest frequency of wear and damage. Since each of the stab members can be individually attached and detached, maintenance and management of the stab conveyor including the stab members is relatively easy, and the practicality of the device itself is not particularly impaired. Furthermore, since the maintenance and management of the piercing conveyor is relatively easy and there is no risk of significantly obstructing ventilation due to its shape, the piercing member should be placed so that the piercing body is positioned relatively densely, as described in detail later. It is also possible to densely install, and by doing so, it is possible to finely divide and disperse cracks as if they were subjected to an ideal tenderizing treatment, and shrinkage, cracking, distortion, etc. Effective drying that can hardly be exposed can be performed Theft has been found At a development process of the present invention.

At that time, the shrinkage due to the drying of the veneer is dispersed in each small section between the puncture bodies of the piercing conveyor, and the puncture scratches formed by the puncture bodies are slightly enlarged, so that the overall The shrinkage is regulated as much as possible, and as a result, many fine cracks are regularly generated starting from each puncture wound, so the piercing of the veneer is released at the unloading side. Even after this, it is possible to avoid the manifestation of shrinkage, cracking, distortion, etc., and there is a remarkable effect in improving the veneer quality and the yield. Of course, even if the material of the veneer changes, the amount of shrinkage hardly changes even if the material of the veneer changes, and there is no excess or deficiency in the width of the dried standard length veneer. There is no fear that the resulting plywood will be a defective product, and it is remarkably effective as compared with the above-mentioned conventional device.

Further, as is clear from the above-mentioned embodiment, since each member constituting the device is simplified on the premise of organic coupling, it does not cost much to form, and especially wear and damage are the most. Since each of the piercing members having a piercing body with a high frequency is individually removable, maintenance and management of the piercing conveyor including the piercing member are relatively easy, and the parts that are consumed are Although it differs from the above-mentioned conventional device, the practicality of the device itself is not particularly impaired, and further maintenance of the piercing conveyor is possible.
Since the management is relatively easy and there is no risk of significantly obstructing ventilation due to its shape, it is possible to densely install the piercing member so that the piercing body can be positioned relatively densely. For example, cracks can be finely divided and dispersed as if they were subjected to an ideal tenderizing treatment, and effective drying can be performed in which shrinkage, cracking, distortion, etc. are hardly revealed. It was confirmed by an experiment in the development process of the present invention.

By the way, in the experiment targeting a standard length veneer for the inner layer with a thickness of 1.25 to 3.6 mm, it showed a wedge shape as shown in the figure, and the height was about 4 m.
A piercing member 4 having a thickness T of 1 mm, in which a large number of piercing bodies 5 having a width W of about 1.2 mm at the base end are projected at a pitch P of 6 mm.
Was dried using a piercing conveyor 6 arranged at intervals L of about 38 mm. Shrinkage, cracking, distortion, etc. were hardly revealed, and a normal amount of adhesive was used to form plywood. However,
There was no difference in quality.

As is apparent from the above, according to the device of the present invention,
In addition to being able to perform useful drying that can avoid the manifestation of cracks and distortions, the practicality of the device is not particularly inferior, and the piercing member is closely packed to achieve more effective drying. Can be performed, and the effect of the implementation is extremely large.

First, regarding the narrow endless belt forming the piercing conveyor, the roller chain with an attachment exemplified in the above-mentioned embodiment is excellent in durability and easy to lock the fastener, and is suitable for running a plurality of articles synchronously. Although it is convenient and ideal, for example, even if the belt 2a made of metal as illustrated in FIG.
Since the stopper 3 can be provided by welding, it is not unusable, and the point is that it is narrow so as not to significantly block ventilation,
It does not matter as long as it can be provided with a stopper at every arbitrary interval.

Also, regarding the shape of the fastener provided in the narrow endless belt,
There are no particular restrictions, in addition to the shape illustrated in the above embodiment,
For example, as shown in FIG. 7, even if the fastener 23 is of a type in which the piercing member 4 is housed in the groove 22 and is tightened with the bolt 21, the piercing member can be detached in a light manner. It does not matter if it can be done.

Next, regarding the piercing member that forms the piercing conveyor, as shown in FIG. 6, a single continuous body extending over the entire width of the device and an appropriate width as shown in FIG. There are two types, one that is divided into each, but in any case, it is difficult to react with moisture, tannin, etc. of veneer, and corrosion-resistant metals such as stainless steel are used so that it has excellent wear resistance. It is desirable to use it or to use it by plating metal such as steel, and it is desirable not to make the width T so thin from the viewpoint of stability and durability of the pressing piercing, but it is extremely It is unsuitable to make the thickness too thick from the perspective of ventilation, and if necessary, as shown in FIG.
It does not matter even if 20 holes are drilled.

Further, the shape of the piercing body projecting on the piercing member is preferably a shape having a sharp tip and easy to form, like the wedge shape shown in the above-mentioned embodiment, and other piercing body 5a illustrated in FIG. 4, for example. ,
A shape similar to a wedge can be mentioned, but in any case,
It is preferable that the height and the width W of the base end portion are not significantly higher and wider than the thickness of the single plate, and the height thereof is
It is better to set it in proportion to the thickness of the target veneer. When targeting various types of veneer, set it to the same thickness as the thickest veneer and actually pierce the veneer. It is a tentative guide to set the width of the part to about 0.2 to 1 mm, and it is preferable to set the width in proportion to the thickness of the veneer within that range.

The pitch P of each piercing body as the piercing conveyor and the interval L of each piercing member are preconditions such as the thickness, material, and application of the veneer to be processed, and the size and flatness of the acceptable crack. Although it can be set arbitrarily to achieve harmony with necessary conditions such as degree, when the pitch P of each piercing body is wide, individual cracks tend to expand, and conversely when it is narrow, pressing piercing tends to become difficult. However, if the spacing L between the piercing members is narrow, cracks tend to be connected. Conversely, if the spacing L is wide, cracks may occur in parts other than the puncture wounds. It is desirable to set the pitch P of each piercing body to 1
It is a tentative standard to set the spacing L of each piercing member to about 5 mm and about 8 to 20 mm, and when targeting a single plate for the inner layer, set the pitch P of each piercing body to about 10 mm. Even if the distance L between the piercing members was increased to about 50 mm, the cracks did not really appear, and there was almost no problem in practical use. Therefore, within those ranges, it was set in proportion to the thickness of the veneer. However, it is more preferable that the veneer for the surface and the veneer for the inner layer are separated and processed by separate piercing conveyors. As long as it does not interfere with the puncture, it may be as wide as possible, and if necessary, the forward movement part in the frame of the warming machine may have a shape similar to that of the support member, for example. It does not matter even if a proper number of guide members are provided to stabilize the traveling.

Next, regarding the pressing member, a roll-shaped member as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 is convenient because a single plate can be inserted smoothly, and in particular, an elastic body such as rubber is provided on the outer periphery. Covering is convenient for stabilizing the pressing puncture and protecting the puncture body, but when the transport speed is comparatively slow, for example, as shown in FIG. 3, an operating mechanism 16 including a fluid cylinder or the like is used. It is also possible to press and pierce the non-rotating pressing member 15 made of synthetic resin or the like by periodically moving up and down, and the point is that a single plate can be pressed and pierced into the piercing body of the piercing conveyor. That's enough.

Incidentally, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, it is preferable to provide a support member to the pressing member via the piercing conveyer so that the pressing piercing is stabilized. In addition, for example, as illustrated in FIG. 3, Sprocket wheel-shaped support member 18 fitted on the idle shaft 17
Alternatively, various shapes such as a sliding support member 19 made of a synthetic resin having a guide groove 19a illustrated in FIG. 4 may be applied, but the pressing member may be a piercing conveyor. It is not impossible to omit the support member if the support member is installed at a position where the looseness is relatively small in the forward movement portion.

In addition, it should be noted that since the shrinkage of the veneer tends to become remarkable when the water content decreases to around 30%, the device according to the present invention is combined with the conventional device at the posterior position, and The initial drying is performed in the device, and from the time when the water content of the veneer approaches 30%, the device according to the present invention is also effective for finish drying to the desired water content, and is not necessarily limited to use alone. Not something to do. Furthermore, if necessary,
It is also possible to stack a plurality of sets such as a stab conveyor on top and bottom, and to process a plurality of single plates at the same time, or by arranging a plurality of conventional pairs of transport rolls separately above or below, It is also possible to treat veneers with different applications separately. The apparatus according to the present invention is also suitable for use in drying a veneer that has been previously tenderized, and in such a case,
There is no practical problem even if the pitch P of each piercing body and the interval L of the piercing members are increased to about 2 to 3 times the above-mentioned numerical values.
