材を供給させる送材路に設けて前記機台に固着した第一
移送手段と、この第一移送手段と並設させて前記機台へ
第二昇降手段を介して昇降自在に取り付けた第二移送手
段と、前記第一および第二移送手段の上方へそれぞれ対
設した挽材を押える第一および第二押え手段と、前記第
一および第二移送手段へそれぞれ連係させた第一および
第二駆動手段とを備えさせたことを特徴とする横型帯鋸
盤。

および第二移送手段に供給されたそれぞれの挽材に対し
て、第一移送手段の上面と第二移送手段の上面との両上
面を、第二昇降手段による第二移送手段の昇降により一
致させた状態で、第一昇降手段により帯鋸を昇降させて
一次歩出しを行ない、これにより第一および第二移送手
段上の挽材を同一厚さの挽材加工を行なう工程と、第二
移送手段を第二昇降手段により昇降させて第一移送手段
上の挽材厚と異ならせた二次歩出しを行ない、これによ
り、第一および第二移送手段上の挽材を異なった厚さで
挽材加工を行なう工程とを選択的に行なうことを特徴と
する横型帯鋸盤の二連式挽材方法。
