Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 8, a conventional electric blanket of this type has a blanket body 8 in which an electric heater 1 and a temperature detecting means 5 for detecting the temperature of the electric heater 1 are arranged, and an electric blanket of the electric heater 1. The temperature setting means 6 for setting the temperature and the control means 7 for controlling the energization of the electric heater 1 by the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means 5 and the signal from the temperature setting means 6 are provided. In addition to the above configuration, as shown in FIG. 9, a skin temperature detecting unit 8 for detecting the skin temperature of the human body and a skin temperature setting unit 9 for setting a set value of the skin temperature are further provided in the above configuration. Some have been added (for example, JP-A-60-101895). According to the former configuration, when the user sets the temperature by the temperature setting unit 6, the control unit 7 controls the energization of the electric heater 1 so that the temperature is set to the set temperature. Further, in the latter case, when the skin temperature is set, the skin temperature detecting means 8 in contact with the human body detects the skin temperature, and the energization of the electric heater is controlled so that the skin temperature reaches the set value.
