層が接するように配置させた後、オパール効果を有する
画像形成体を有するプレス版を該支持体側から必要に応
じ加熱をしながら加圧し、該転写シートの着色層と接着
層の該凹凸パターンにより加圧された部分を該被転写体
上に転移させ、微細な万線状凹凸パターン群をその万線
方向を少しずつ変化させて複数組配列させて成る凹凸パ
ターンを最上層の該着色層に賦型して得られる凹凸模様
を該被転写体の特定部分のみに設けることを特徴とする
画像形成体がある。このような画像形成体は、その表面
の万線状凹凸パターン群における万線方向がそれぞれ異
なっているため、表面での反射光の反射方向が様々に変
化し、見る角度や方向を様々に変化させると各万線状凹
凸パターン群の濃淡や輝きが動的に変化し、極めて華麗
な効果(オパール効果)を醸し出す。このオパール効果
を有する画像形成体は、作製時に使用されるエンボスパ
ターンの製造が非常に難しく、第三者が容易に偽造する

を用いて安価で優れたカラー表現の効果を得ることを課
題とする。さらに又、本発明の方法を用いて良好な印刷
画像を形成すると共に取扱における摩擦により剥離が生

層、接着層を被転写体上に転移させると共に、被転写体
上の剥離性保護層、印刷層、蒸着層、接着層に賦型して
模様形成体を設けることを特徴とする画像形成体の製造
