【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】トナー像形成体上のトナー像を転写部にお
いてトナー像形成体に接続して回転する中間転写体に転
写し、中間転写体上のトナー像を記録転写部において押
圧ローラにより前記中間転写体に押圧される記録紙に転
写,定着する記録装置の前記中間転写体のクリーニング
方法において、前記中間転写体を前記トナー像形成体か
ら離した状態で該中間転写体に押圧される前記記録紙又
はクリーニング部材を具備している前記押圧ローラによ
り中間転写体をクリーニングすることを特徴とする中間
転写体のクリーニング方法。
1.
