挟持する上下一対のスライド型と、該スライド型を該固
定型に対し接近離間せしめるスライド型駆動機構とを備
える止水板の接合装置を用意し、該スライド型が該固定
型から離間した状態で接合すべき2枚の止水板の一方を
該固定型に他方を該スライド型に挟持せしめ、該2枚の
止水板の対向する両端面間に柔軟性と止水性を有する材
料からなりかつ止水板と同一の断面形状ならびに材質を
有するシートを配置し、各端面に瞬間接着剤を塗布した
後該スライド型駆動機構を操作して該スライド型を該固
定型に接近させることにより各端面を該シートに圧着さ
せることを特徴とする止水板の接合方法。
