(Prior Art) In an indicating instrument, an illumination adjusting film is formed by printing on the rear surface of the dial in order to make the brightness of the display portion of the dial uniform during illumination. 48-1735
It is known from Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 4 and No. 4 and a method of manufacturing an illumination adjusting film is known from Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 60-123728 and 63-61117. Then, the illumination adjusting film is formed by a dot pattern in which the dot area in each element of the virtual matrix on the dial plate surface is changed according to the light blocking ratio necessary for equalizing the brightness. The dot pattern of this illumination adjustment film is 1 in each element of the virtual matrix.
It is configured by providing individual dots and changing the size of the dots according to the light blocking ratio.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) As described above, when the entire dot pattern is formed by positive, the dot becomes large at a place where the light blocking rate is large, and the dot 3 may be seen through from the front surface of the dial during illumination. . Therefore, in order to prevent this, as shown in FIG. 4, one dot 3 is provided in each element 2 of the virtual matrix 1, and the dot on the lower side of the light blocking rate is positive with the predetermined light blocking rate, for example, 50% as a boundary. Also, a means for forming the large dots by a negative may be considered.

However, in the means in which the size of the dot 3 in each element 2 of the virtual matrix 1 is changed in accordance with the light blocking rate, both ends of the light blocking rate, that is, 0% or 10
The dots near 0% become very small, and when this is printed on the dial by screen printing, there is a problem that the dot 3 part will be blurred or crushed and hinder the uniformity of brightness. . For example, when the dots 3 are formed as positive or negative, the dot diameter is about 0.2 mm, which is the limit of printing. Since dots smaller than this are difficult to print, the illuminance at both ends of the shading rate is uniform. Was difficult.

[Structure of the Invention] (Means for Solving the Problem) The present invention provides a virtual matrix in which the dot pattern of the illumination adjustment film formed by printing on the dial in order to make the brightness of the dial uniform when the indicator is illuminated. In the element formed by changing the size of dots in the element according to the shading rate, the dot pattern has the same size dot in a unit element having a plurality of vertical x horizontal elements. A first unit pattern provided for each of a plurality of elements, and a second unit in which the smallest dot in the dot pattern is provided in the unit element and the number of dots is smaller than that of the first unit pattern. And a pattern.

FIG. 3 shows the first unit pattern 4. This unit pattern is defined as a unit element 2A which is a range of elements 2 of vertical × horizontal 2 × 2, and within this unit element 2A, the unit element 2A is included. Each element is provided with a dot 3A of the same size having an area calculated so as to obtain four dots having a light-shielding rate of 4 in the range. Then, the dot pattern in the printable range is configured using the first unit pattern 4. For example, if the vertical dimension of the unit element 2A is 1.33 mm × 1.33 mm, the diameter of the dot 3A 'in the positive light-shielding rate 8% portion is 0.213 m.
Since the diameter of the dot 3A 'in the area where the light-shielding rate is 86% and the size is negative is 0.281 mm, this is the smallest dot in this dot pattern, and the light-shielding rate is 8% to 86%.
Is the printable range. The range in which printing is difficult is configured by using the second unit pattern 4A described below.

FIG. 2 shows a second unit pattern 4A, which is formed by using the smallest dot 3A ′ in the first unit pattern 4, and the dot 3 in the unit element 2A.
It is constructed by reducing the number of A '. In other words, by setting the number of dots 3A 'in the unit element 2A to 3, the light blocking ratios of 6% and 89% are obtained, and by setting it to 2, the light blocking ratios of 4% and 93% are obtained, and one dot is obtained. By 2%

In this way, the dot pattern of the printable range is formed using the first unit pattern 4 shown in FIG. 3, and the dot pattern of the range difficult to print using the second unit pattern 4A shown in FIG. By constructing the dot pattern, the dot pattern having the range of 0 to 100% of the light blocking ratio shown in FIG. 1 can be obtained.
