有し、かつ上記口金に設けられた各種の突起に係合もし
くは突起を挿入する段部や切溝を有している。ボール形
蛍光ランプ(第7図)とU形蛍光ランプ(第8図)と
は、4ピンのピン間隔は等しいが、口金部の形状、寸法
はそれぞれ異り、これら口金部の形状、寸法は製造メー
カによっても異っているため、これらの蛍光ランプを使
用するソケットには、いずれも共通した互換性が全くな

する2側面を平面壁3とするほぼ円柱状の本体を形成
し、上記平面壁3の基部にはそれぞれ突起4を有し、上
記本体のピン挿入穴2の反対側の端面からは4本のリー
ド線10を取出している。第1図において、上記環形蛍光
ランプ用ソケット(以下ソケットという)1の平面壁3
にそれぞれ当接する平面部に、上記突起4を係止する突
起挿入穴6を設け、取付穴8を有する取付脚7を折曲げ
形成するとともに、両側に取付片11を有する取付具5を
2個用いて、上記ソケット1を両側から抱き合わせ、突
起4を突起挿入穴6に係止しそれぞれ対向する取付片11
を締付けることによって、上記ソケット1は2個の取付
具5に固定される。したがって照明器具(図示せず)
の、リード線貫通穴を有する取付台に上記取付脚7を取
付けることにより、ソケット1は照明器具に設置され

し、上記ソケット取付具を所望の位置に取付けたことを
