Description
【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本発明は、磁気テープに記録された内容を消去するため
にNS両極の複数組までを着磁された多極着磁型消去ヘッ

側の側面のみに設けた補助極の着磁とをもつ前面多極・
側面着磁有り型のもの(特開昭57−150105号公報参照)

(発明が解決しようとする課題) 前記従来の技術において述べた前者は、消去率を良くす
るためにガウスを大きく(第4図参照)すると録音時の
ストップノイズが大きくなる好ましくない欠陥があり、
これを解消するために業者は第5図に示すように消去率
の低下を承知でガウスを小さくすることによりストップ

所に前記前面着磁部の最終極と同じ極の着磁を磁気テー
プが当該着磁の磁界の中を走行する状態で設けることで
形成された退出側着磁部と、テープ進入側の側面のテー
プ摺動弧状前面に近い個所に前記前面着磁部における最
初極と異なる極の着磁を磁気テープが当該着磁の磁界の
中を走行する状態で設けることで形成された進入側着磁

位置にNS両極の複数組を交互に着磁して多極の前面着磁
部2を、またテープ退出側の側面3においてテープ摺動
弧状前面1に近い個所に前記前面着磁部2における最終
極と同じ極の着磁を磁気テープが当該着磁の磁界中を走
行する状態で設けることで退出側着磁部4を夫々形成す
ると共にテープ進入側の側面6においてテープ摺動弧状
前面1に近い個所に前記前面着磁部における最初極と異
なる極の着磁を磁極テープ7が当該着磁の磁界の中を走
行する状態で設けることで進入側着磁部5を形成したも

N100ガウスの磁力がテープの離れ時に残留磁気となって
しまうが、本発明におけるテープ退出側の側面3に設け
た退出側着磁部4は、同図中において白抜き矢印で指示
している個所による残留磁気をゼロに近くし消去ノイズ

(発明の効果) 本発明は前記のような構成であるので、前記作用におい
て述べたことで明らかなように、録音時のストップ・ノ
イズおよび消去ノイズが共に小さい新規の多極着磁型消
去ヘッドを提供するという所期の目的を完全に達成する

去すべきトラックに対向する位置にNS両極の複数組まで
着磁された多極の前面着磁部をもつ多極着磁型消去ヘッ
ドにおいて、テープ退出側の側面のテープ摺動弧状前面
に近い個所に前記前面着磁部の最終極と同じ極の着磁を
磁気テープが当該着磁の磁界の中を走行する状態で設け
ることで形成された退出側着磁部と、テープ進入側の側
面のテープ摺動弧状前面に近い個所に前記前面着磁部に
おける最初極と異なる極の着磁を磁気テープが当該着磁
の磁界の中を走行する状態で設けることで形成された進
入側着磁部とをもつことを特徴とする多極着磁型消去ヘ
ッド。1.
