<Prior art> In a stave cooler type blast furnace, if the furnace wall refractory falls off at the end of the life of the furnace, the furnace wall consists of the furnace body skin and the stave cooler. The cooler is worn by the heat load in the furnace, and finally the furnace shell is exposed in the furnace.

In this case, the iron shell is directly subjected to the heat load in the furnace, which causes cracking or melting and causes blown-out of the blast furnace.
Therefore, it is necessary to repair the worn part of the stave cooler, but conventionally, various repair methods have been proposed, and for example, there are the following.

(i)耐火モルタル圧入(例えば特開昭61−69908) これは耐火モルタルを鉄皮に設けた圧入孔より炉内の要

(I) Injecting refractory mortar (for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 61-69908) In this, refractory mortar is press-injected into a repaired portion in the furnace through a press-fitting hole formed in the iron shell, and a refractory layer is formed on the iron skin surface in the furnace. By doing so, it is intended to protect the iron wall of the furnace wall.

(ii)不定形耐火物吹付(例えば特開昭54−77207) これは要補修部が露出するまで炉内装入物を減尺させた

(Ii) Irregular refractory spraying (for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 54-77207) This is the refractory refractory sprayed from the inside of the furnace after the furnace interior contents have been reduced until the repaired parts are exposed. By forming a layer, it is intended to protect the furnace wall iron shell.

(Iv) Installation of thin stave (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-123804) This is one of the methods for repairing the furnace wall of refractory, and a replaceable stave cooler is installed in front of the damaged part of the refractory brick. It is a method of press-fitting an irregular shaped refractory from the outside of the furnace through a refractory filling hole between the inner brick and the front.

(V) Horizontal shelf installation (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-152606) In (ii) spray repair, after installing a horizontal shelf on the damaged part of the furnace wall, spray the irregular refractory to extend the duration of the repair effect. It is something to try.

<Problems to be solved by the present invention> However, among these, (i) the method of press-fitting the refractory mortar is the simplest method, but the duration of the repair effect is short, and it takes several days to one month. Unreliable.

(Ii) With spray repair, the duration of repair effect is from 6 months to 6 months.
Although it can be expected for about a month, it may be difficult to carry out spray repairs on a regular basis because the amount of time and cost required for repairs (wind breaks) and scale reduction operations for that purpose is large.

<Means for Solving Problems> A repair method according to the present invention is a stave furnace wall in which a large number of substantially rectangular stave coolers are arranged inside a furnace shell when viewed from the front, and around the stave cooler. When repairing the part to be repaired (steel skin exposed part) between the stave coolers composed of worn parts without removing the remaining stave cooler, after reducing the insert in the furnace until the repaired part is exposed,
A cooling pipe is cast in such a size as to cover the portion requiring repair, and a water-cooling pipe made of metal with a mounting pipe serving as a water supply / drainage pipe and a fixing arm for the cooling pipe is bored on the rear surface of the iron skin side. Type protector is inserted into the furnace, the back side of the steel skin side of this water-cooled protector is brought into contact with the inner surface of the inner side of the remaining stave cooler in the repair required part, and the repaired part is covered with the iron pipe in advance. It is fixed to the iron shell by protruding it out of the furnace through a mounting hole that is drilled in the skin, and press-fits irregularly shaped refractory from the outside of the furnace through the press-fitting hole that was previously drilled in the iron skin on the back of this water-cooled protector. It is something that is done.

<Working> The metal water-cooled protector has a backside on the iron skin side abutting against the inner surface of the inside of the remaining stave cooler in the area requiring repair, and a mounting pipe that also serves as a water supply / drainage pipe for the cooling pipe and a fixing arm. Since it is fixed to the furnace body iron shell, it can be easily and firmly attached with a relatively simple structure.

The irregular refractory that is press-fitted is filled into the area requiring repair and then flows out into the furnace through the gap between the water-cooled protector and the remaining stave cooler. Therefore, a special seal is required compared to normal press-fitting without a protector. Without having to provide any parts
The filling property to the repaired part is good.

As shown in FIG. 1, the furnace wall of a blast furnace that has been used for a long period of time is composed of a furnace body shell 1 and a stave cooler 2, and the peripheral part of the stave cooler 2 is worn away (a stave cooler usually has a poor cooling effect). The parts are locally worn away. Especially, the upper part and the lower part are largely worn when the parts are attached to the furnace.) There is a repaired part 4 where the iron shell 1 is exposed inside the furnace 3.

In the present invention, first, the furnace interior charge level 5 is lowered until the repaired portion 4 is exposed, and the cast iron protector 7 in which the water cooling pipe 6 is cast and wrapped by the manhole or the like provided in the upper part of the furnace is installed in the furnace. It is taken into the inside 3 and placed in the repaired part 4.

The protector 7 has a water supply / drainage pipe for water-cooling the protector 7 and a mounting pipe 8 which also serves as an arm for fixing the protector to the furnace wall. The protector 7 is provided above and below the repaired portion 4 in advance. Also, the mounting pipe 8 is inserted into the mounting holes 9 and 10 provided in the stave cooler 2 and fixed to the iron shell 1 to cover the repaired portion 4 to be repaired. Then, the refractory mortar 12 is press-fitted toward the back surface of the protector 7 from the press-fitting hole 11 formed in the iron shell 1 so as to communicate the repair-required part 4 so that the repair-required part 4 is always filled with the refractory mortar 12. , Protect the iron skin 1.

In the present invention as described above, the steel shell 1 in the repaired portion is protected by the refractory mortar 12 press-fitted on the back surface of the protector 7, and the water-cooled protector 7 is protected by the refractory mortar 12.
It has a structure that protects.

Further, since the press-fitted refractory mortar 12 flows into the furnace 3 through the gap between the protector 7 and the stave cooler 2 after filling the repair required portion 4, the filling property of the mortar is higher than that of the normal press-fitting without a protector. Remarkably good.

Further, since the protector 7 also has a function of holding the mortar 12 that has been press-fitted in the repair-required portion 4, the filled mortar 12 is unlikely to drop off. Further, since the protector 7 is provided, the mortar 12 press-fitted does not suffer wear due to the unloading of the raw material in the furnace. Since the protector 7 is made of metal, preferably cast iron, with the water cooling pipe 6 encapsulated therein, it has excellent heat resistance and wear resistance, and has a long life.

Even if the filled mortar 12 may fall off due to deterioration or the like, it can be easily recovered by performing press-fitting again. Further, when the protector is significantly worn out due to long-term use, the protector can be easily replaced.

3 and 4 show a modification of the protector 7, which is intended to be downsized, in which mounting pipes 8 are provided on both sides of a horizontally long member and a mounting hole 10 is provided at a portion requiring repair. It is provided only on the iron skin 1 in No. 4. There is an advantage that it is not necessary to form the mounting hole 10 in the stave cooler 2.

<Effects of the Invention> As described above, according to the present invention, the portion to be repaired between the remaining stave coolers is covered with the water-cooled protector, and the irregular refractory is press-fitted on the back surface of the water-cooled protector. For the furnace wall where the cooler periphery is worn and the steel skin is exposed inside the furnace, it is relatively easy and relatively inexpensive, and the repair effect is long-lasting and highly reliable. It can be carried out.
