The matrix can be sufficiently and uniformly inserted between the single fibers. Further, since the ceramic powder matrix is used together with the pressure-sensitive adhesive, the binding force between the single fiber and the ceramic powder matrix is enhanced, and a sheet-shaped molding material having excellent handleability can be obtained.

May be used in the form of slurry. The ceramic powder matrix 3 applied here preferably has a particle size of 10 μm or less. On the other hand, the slurry may be composed of a ceramic powder matrix 3, water and gelatin, or a pressure sensitive adhesive that decomposes and disappears at a temperature lower than the composite molding temperature, such as gelatin or a polymer compound.

When the ceramic powder matrix 3 is a material such as glass whose viscosity is lowered by heating, the fiber surface may be covered with a glass layer in advance by heating to the softening point and melting. After drying, the sheet-shaped monofilament-ceramics powder matrix mixture is separated from the frame 4.

Since the binding force of the powder matrix is high due to the effect of the pressure-sensitive adhesive, it can be made into a sheet shape, and by stacking it, handling at the time of molding the composite material is easy, and the disorder of the arrangement and distribution of fibers does not occur easily. The effect of is obtained.
