く、このため、地面に当接するための脚を別途に製作し
て底面に固着しており、構造が複雑となって製作工程が
多くなり、燃料タンク製作の作業能率の阻害となってい

た。このため作業能率が悪く、高価となって小型エンジ
ンの燃料タンクとしては適当でなかった。この欠点に対
応してブロー成型により燃料タンクを製作する方法が行
なわれていたが、この方法では、タンク全面が均一とな
って、地面に接する底面が損傷し易く、エンジンの下方
に装着して地上に載置する場合には、用いることができ
なかった、すなわち、この方法では、管状の熱溶着性の
布状の合成樹脂膜を偏平にして上下2重とし、これを予
め加熱して、内部に中空型部を設けた上下の金型の間に
挾持し、縁部を圧着して、上下の膜の間に空気を圧入し
て、中空型部の内面に膜を圧接すると、膜は冷却、固化
されて成形される。この場合、タンク全周は同じ管状の
材料により成型されるので、肉厚全周同じ肉厚寸法とな

分割面29の位置に上部金型23と下部金型25の間に置いて
縁部を圧着、挾持し、注入針31によって合成樹脂膜35,3
7の間に空気を圧入すると、合成樹脂膜35,37は中空型部
27の内面に押圧され、冷却、固化して成形される。この
