Was considered difficult. Also, when asbestos is used as a reinforcing material, it is far superior to natural fiber-based reinforcing materials in terms of heat resistance and mechanical strength, but asbestos is prohibited because it is dangerous to the human body. It is much larger than fiber and has less lignin content that adversely affects strength compared to wood fiber, and has a large content of hemicellulose, which is easily fibrillated during beating, and is easily fibrillated. As a result, the affinity with the phenol resin, which is the matrix resin, is large, and the aspect ratio is larger than that of ordinary wood-based fibers.
