着ヘッド1を選択して使用することができるのである。 しかして、第2図の装着ヘッド1を取り付けて形成され
る電気部品装着装置を用いて、第3図のような立上り片
8が上部に垂直に形成された端子などの電気部品2(寸
法は例えばa=8mm、b=2mm、c=2mm程度)を回路基
板などの被装着材3に装着するにあたっては、まず第1
図(a)のように装置本体を作動させて装着ヘッド1を

にする。そして第1図(B)のように装置本体を作動さ
せて装着ヘッド1を部品2側へ若干移動させ(矢印)、
吸引口4aによる真空吸引力で吸着手段4に部品2の立上
り片8の側面を吸着させて部品2を吸着手段4に保持さ
せる。次に第1図(C)のように装置本体を作動させて
装着ヘッド1を上動させて(矢印)、部品スタンド13か
ら部品2を持ち上げ、さらに装置本体を作動させて装着
ヘッド1を水平に移動させ、被装着材3の所定位置まで
移動させたのちに再度装着ヘッド1を下動させることに
よって、部品2を被装着材3の所定箇所に装着実装する
ことができる。 ここで、吸着手段4に部品2の立上り片8を吸着させる
と吸引口4aが閉じられて吸引路12内の気圧が変化するた
めに、部品2を吸着したか否かの検知を自動的に確実に

を検知したのちに第1図(c)の作動がなされるように
プログラムを組んで自動制御するようにすれば、被装着
材3への部品2の実装ミスのおそれがない自動化が可能
になるものである。勿論、第4図のような上面が広い平
坦面に形成された部品2を実装する際には、装置本体の
装着ヘッド1を第4図の従来のものに取り替えておこな
うことができるものである。さらに、上記の実施例のよ
うに吸着手段4に部品2の立上り片8を吸着させるため
に装着ヘッド1を横移動させるようにすると、第1図
(a)の想像線のように立上り片8が曲がっていても支
障なく吸着させることができるものである。 尚、上記実施例では、吸着手段4として真空吸引手段を
用いるようにしたが、本発明はこれに限定されるもので
はなく例えば磁石を吸着手段4として用いることもでき
るものである。
