る第二接続部管62はその軸心を上下方向に向けており、
第二接続部62の下部にはマンホール50の周壁部51の内面
に沿い上下方向に取り付けられた副管(内側の配管部
品)20が接続されている。副管20はその下端に90゜ベン
ド管21を有し、これをマンホール50の底部に設けられた
インバート部52の上に位置させている。このベンド管21

続部62の突出により狭くなり、マンホール50の底部にイ
ンバート部52を製作する作業が非常にやりづらくなる。
したがって、従来は、初めにマンホール50のインバー
ト部52を製作し、次に管継手60をマンホール50に固定
し、その後、管継手60の第一接続部61に流入管10を接
続し、第二接続部62に副管20を接続する、という施工手
順を採らざるを得なかった。しかしながら、実際の工事
においては種々の都合により、インバート部52の施工よ
り流入管10のマンホール50への接続工事を先行させたい
場合や、両作業を並行して行いたい場合があり、苦慮し
