2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a general theater hall chair has a structure in which many elastic members such as cushions are used for each part from the viewpoint of sitting comfort and design, and each part except the legs is covered with a fabric or the like. Has become. By the way, in a theater hall chair having such a configuration, since the cushion, the fabric, etc. have excellent sound absorbing properties, the entire chair tends to absorb sound too much. However, there is a problem in that the reverberation time cannot be made sufficiently long due to the acoustic characteristics of.

In a conventional theater hall chair, the sound absorbing power differs depending on whether the seat is seated by a spectator or when the seat is vacant (when seated, the sound absorbing power is greater depending on the spectator's costume and the like. However, there is a drawback that the reverberation characteristics in the theater are greatly different between when the seats are empty and when they are full. (Fig. 3 is a diagram showing the results of measuring the reverberation characteristics when the seat is vacant and when the seat is full in a theater equipped with a chair having a conventional structure. As shown in this figure, the reverberation time of sound in the theater is Therefore, in a theater equipped with a chair with a conventional structure, there is a difference in performance sound between the rehearsal performance performed when the seats are vacant and the production performance when the seats are full when the music performance is performed. The person was inconvenient during the performance.

Therefore, as a means for coping with such a problem, it is conceivable to construct the chair structure such that the portion covered by the spectator when seated is a sound absorbing structure and the other portion is a reflecting structure. That is, if the chair is configured in this way, the difference in sound absorption volume between when seated and when the seat is vacant can be made small, and the above inconvenience can be eliminated to some extent. However, even in such a chair, in general, the sound absorbing power of the spectator's costume or the like when seated is larger than the sound absorbing power of the chair alone, so that there is a limit to reducing the difference in the sound absorbing power, and There is a drawback in that it cannot completely compensate for the difference. Therefore, the applicant of the present invention has proposed a chair for a theater hall in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 62-512, which can solve the above problems.

When the seat is vacant, the movable seat 15 separates from the fixed seat 14 and rotates around the shaft 23 and stops at a position where it stands up almost vertically, which is necessary for the movement of the spectator in front of the chair. It is possible to secure a sufficient space. Moreover,
Since the front surface of the backrest portion 11 is not hidden by the movable seat 15, the sound absorbing force does not decrease due to the separation of the movable seat 15. Further, unlike the conventional chair shown in FIG. 4, since the shield plates 6a and 6b and the mechanism for moving them are not required, the structure can be simplified and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. It is possible to increase the cushioning property, the design property (luxury), and the like.
