等の記録ヘッドを駆動し印字を行なう記録部で、記録紙
及び記録紙移送機構と記録ヘッドで構成されている。又
記録部(4)には記録紙の有無を検出する手段が設けら
れ、検出信号(So)を制御装置(1)に供給している。
(5)は読取部(3)で読み取った原稿データ或いは信
号処理されたデータ等が記憶されるデータメモリで、デ
ータの書込み及び読み出しが制御装置(1)により制御
されている。尚データメモリ(5)には隣接のファクシ
ミリ装置のダイヤル番号データを記憶する領域が設けら
れている。(6)は代行受信時に受信データを記憶する
代行受信メモリで、制御装置(1)の制御の下にデータ

プ(S402)でデータメモリ(5)に予め設定されている
隣接するファクシミリ装置のダイヤル番号データを読み
出し自動ダイヤル装置(11)に供給する。これにより自
動ダイヤル装置(11)はステップ(S403)でダイヤル番
号データに基づき自動的にダイヤル発信を行なう。続い
て制御装置(1)はステップ(S404)でダイヤル発信に
隣接のファクシミリ装置が応答したか否か検出してお
り、応答が有ったことを検出した制御装置(1)は、ス
テップ(S405)で転送フラグのセットを行なった後、ス
テップ(S406)に進み代行受信メモリ(6)に記憶して
いるデータの読み出しを行ない、ステップ(S407)で送
信処理を行なう。代行受信メモリ(6)に記憶されてい
る全てのデータの送信が終了する迄ステップ(S406)
(S407)の処理が繰り返され、全てのデータの送信を終
了すると、制御装置(1)はステップ(S409)に進み代
行受信メモリ(6)のクリアを行なった後、ステップ
(S410)で表示器(8)に隣接のファクシミリ装置に転
送した旨の表示を行ない、ステップ(S411)で回線の切

行受信した受信内容を知ることが出来る。又キーボード
(7)で所定のキー操作を行なうと、キー信号を検出し
た制御装置(1)は、代行受信メモリ(6)により記憶
されている受信データを読み出し、記録部(4)を制御
することにより代行受信していた受信データの記録を行
なう。これにより代行受信メモリ(6)に記憶されてい

ファクシミリ装置に送信されたデータが存在する場合に
その旨をユーザに知らせることができるので上記ユーザ
