Getting smaller,
A core that is formed so that the core will disintegrate into pieces when it is applied naturally or with relatively small force. In order to provide this property and performance, the collapsible core is made of, for example, sand as a main component, and an appropriate amount of a binder of a special curable resin is mixed with casting sand to be molded into a desired shape and cured. The surface of which is coated with an appropriate amount of a special surface coating agent composed of a fireproofing agent or an organic compound is used.

If 3 is to be installed at a predetermined location of the mold 2 at a time, after the carrier 3 is conveyed to the vicinity of the installation part of the mold 2 in the vertical posture shown on the fifth surface, the protrusion of the installation part of the mold 2 It must be rotated 90 degrees to fit the inside diameter of the retainer 4 into 2b. However, when it is rotated 90 degrees, if it is rotated too far so that the collar portion 1a side is a little lower than the horizontal state, it rides on the collar portion 4a which is the upper end surface of the collapsible insert core holder 4. Only the collapsible storage core 1 falls because there is nothing to prevent.

And at that time, since the carrier for moving the collapsible insert core assembly suitable for carrying out the method is used,
When carrying, the collapsible insert core does not come off when the collapsible insert core is in a horizontal position or in any diagonal position, and the flanges of the inner and outer holders and the flange of the transfer part do not come off. No longer falls from the holder. Since the flange portion of the carrier carries the inner holder, the outer holder, and the end surface of the insert liner on the carrier side, the outer holder and insert liner do not come out of the inner holder, and the position and orientation of the collapsible core is maintained. It does not change or the collapsible insert core is damaged. In addition, by clamping the inner peripheral portion of the inner holder with the carrier, the entire collapsible core assembly including the collapsible core, the holder and the insert liner can be assembled without directly touching the collapsible core. It can be installed in the installation position of the mold at one time, and by these things, the production can be automated. In addition, since it is not necessary for an operator to enter the casting machine, safety can be secured.
