問題点を解決するための手段 本発明者らは前記したような問題点を解決すべく鋭意研
究を重ねた結果、本発明に至ったものである。即ち本発
明は、遊離酸として式(1) で示される直接染料5〜40重量%、エチレングリコー
ル、ジエチレングリコール又はトリエチレングリコール
から選ばれる1種又は2種10〜40重量%、分子量200乃
至600ポリエチレングリコール10〜30重量%、水酸化リ
チウム0.1〜10重量%及び水10〜50重量%を含有するこ
とを特徴とする直接染料の液状組成物 を提供する。

えて結晶を析出せしめた後、反応液を過してえたプレ
スケーキを用いてもよいが、C.I.ダイレクトブラック22
は水に対する溶解性が十分小さいので中性塩、鉱酸等を
加えることなく反応液をそのまま過してプレスケーキ
をえてそれを本発明の液状組成物調製の為に使用するの
が塩の混入が少ないので好ましい。なおプレスケーキを
乾燥してから用いることも出来るが乾燥品を用いること
は粉塵の発生が起こりプレスケーキを用いるのに比べ何
の益ももたらさない。

種10〜40重量%、より好ましくは15〜30重量%、分子量
200乃至600のポリエチレングリコール10〜30重量%、よ
り好ましくは15〜25重量%及び水酸化リチウム0.1〜10
重量%、より好ましくは1〜5重量%を水10〜50重量
%、より好ましくは20〜40重量%に任意の順序で加えて
調製される。この場合プレスケーキ状のC.I.ダイレクト
ブラック22が用いられたときはそのプレスケーキ中の含
水量に見合う水を減らした水を用いて前記した含有量に
調整される。なお液状組成物を調製するにあたり必要に
応じて過を行って夾雑物を除いたりあるいは均一な液
状組成物になるのを早めるために例えば40〜60℃に加熱
することも出来る。

溶解等における粉塵、衛生上の問題等も完全に解決され
るものである。
