調整及び必要に応じてバランス調整が行なえる方法を提

する。まず、図1、図2を参照しながら、本発明の一実
施例に係る水中うき25の沈み力の調整方法について説
明すると、この実施例においては図2に示すような形状
の鉛からなる重り26を使用する。この重り26は製造
された時点では上部に左右対称な沈み力調整用のロッド
27、28が設けられ、中央に合成樹脂製(ポリプロピ
レン)のパイプ29の挿入孔30を備えている。従っ
て、まずうき本体31に段付きの丸穴32を穿ち、該重
り26を挿入して、中央に釣り糸を通す合成樹脂製(ポ
リプロピレン)のパイプ29を装着し、細い釣り糸によ
って水中に吊り下げ、秤によって、その沈み力を測定す
る。そして、沈み力が規定値より大きすぎる、あるいは
小さい場合は、該重り26を沈み力が規定値より若干大
きくなるような重りに取り替える。そして再度水中に入
れ秤によって沈み力を測定し、沈み力が規定値に一致し
ない場合には、該水中うき25を水から上げて、該重り
26の沈み力調整用のロッド27、28を適当量切断す
るという工程を繰り返すことによって沈み力の調整を行
う。その結果沈み力が規定値と一致すれば調整作業が完
了するので、内部の空洞に充填剤(接着剤でも可能)を
入れ、全体を接着剤で固定して、表面塗装を施して完成
する。若し、再度水に入れた結果、沈み力が規定値とず
れるようであれば、再度ロッド27、28を調整する。
ここで、必要に応じてロッド27、28の何れか一方を
切断して、重りの左右のバランスを調整し、水中うき2
5のバランスを調整することもできる。なお、前記ロッ
ド27、28は断面欠け円形状であったが、断面円形で
あっても良く、また適当に括れを設けることも可能であ
