撹拌ミルは外筒径とは無関係に撹拌翼の周速を一定にし
ているため、大型化すると撹拌力が低下し性能が落ちる
等の問題を抱えている。

数の突起状の撹拌翼が上記外筒の撹拌翼と互いに交差可
能に設けられた内筒を上記外筒と同軸状に装着し、上記
外筒および内筒の何れか一方を単独或いは相互に逆方向
に臨界回転数の1乃至3倍の速度で回転させ、上記外筒
および内筒の間に形成される粉砕室内にボール状の粉砕
補助用部材を50乃至90%充填してなる構成を特徴として
いる。

回り現象”を起こすことなく強力なせん断力を発揮し、
石炭等の被粉砕物に対する粉砕効果が高められて超微粉
粒を得ることができる。

ある。図において、符号1は内周面に撹拌翼15を有する
外筒で、上下二分割可能にフランジ20が設けられ、上部
にはマンホール11が設置されている。13は外周面に撹拌
翼14を有する内筒軸で、それぞれ図示しないモーターお
よびVベルト或いはチェーンを介してプーリー25,26に
より駆動可能な構造をしている。外筒1の撹拌翼15と内
筒軸13の撹拌翼14とは第1図に示すように軸方向から見
て互いに重なり合って交差可能に十分な長さを有して設
けられており、強力なせん断力を生ずるようになってい
る。外筒1および内筒軸13は単独回転或いは相互に逆回
転を行い、スラリー注入孔17から注入されるスラリーを
粉砕室19内に充填された図示しないボールとともに高速
撹拌することにより強力なせん断力で微粉粒化し、微粉
粒化したスラリーは目板16を通り、スラリ排出箱10へ落
ちてスラリー排出孔18から外部へ排出される構造になっ
ている。
