2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional capacitor, an insulating paper is bent into a metal case to form a case, and the case is inserted into the metal case to maintain electrical insulation between the capacitor element and the metal case. That is, as shown in FIG. 6, the insulating paper inner case 7 is put in the metal case 3, the capacitor element 4 is inserted in the inner case 7, the lead piece 5 is connected to the terminal fitting 9 provided on the lid 8, and the capacitor I was trying.

However, since the insulating paper is used for the inner case 7, it is necessary to dehydrate the moisture in the insulating paper by vacuum heating before impregnating the insulating oil in order to improve the reliability of the capacitor. there were. Another problem is that the inner case 7 is temporarily fixed in the middle of the inner surface of the metal case 3, the capacitor element 4 is further inserted, and the lead piece 5 is exposed above the upper end of the case. It is better to connect the terminal to the terminal metal fitting of the lid 6, but it is difficult to temporarily hold the insulating paper inner case 7 in the middle, and if the clearance between the metal case 3 and the inner case 7 in the insulating paper is used. If it is made small, insertion work becomes difficult when it is finally inserted into the metal case 3.

And the lead piece 5 is attached to the terminal fitting provided on the lid in a state where the lead piece 5 projects from the upper end portion 6 of the metal case 3. After that, the capacitor element 4 together with the inner case 1 is surely inserted into the metal case 3, and the lid is fastened.

(Embodiment 2) In FIG. 3, when the inner case 1 made of polypropylene resin is provided with an arcuate convex portion 10 in the opening, the inner case 1 is inserted into the metal case 3 as shown in FIG. The spring force of the convex portion 10 of the inner case is used in advance to temporarily hold it in the middle so that the lead piece 5 is located above the upper end opening 6 of the metal case 3 when the capacitor element 4 is inserted. . In this state, it is connected to the terminal fitting 9 provided on the lid 8 in FIG. After that, the capacitor element 4,
Insert both the inner case 1 and the metal case 3 into the metal case 3 to the bottom, and tighten the lid.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION As described above, according to the inner case of the present invention, the vacuum heating and dehydration treatment of insulating paper is greatly simplified, and the work of connecting the capacitor element and the terminal fitting is facilitated. That is, in the convex portion of the inner case, by temporarily fixing it in the middle of the metal case, the lead piece can be easily connected to the terminal fitting of the lid with the lead piece protruding above the upper end of the case.
When the inner case is securely inserted into the metal case, the protrusions of the inner case are only partially in contact with the metal case, so that the inner case can be easily inserted. Further, the inner case can be temporarily fixed when it is inserted into the metal case without increasing the number of parts and the number of steps, which contributes to the improvement of workability.
