The automatic supply was difficult. Therefore, regarding the addition of the coagulant in the settling tank, for example, as shown in FIG. 4, the coagulant of the granular powder is previously dissolved in the dissolution tank A with a solvent to form a coagulation stock solution, which is diluted by the pump B. After being sent to the tank C, diluted with water and stored in the lower water tank E via the valve D, the water is supplied to the settling tank (not shown) by the pump F. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 5, a means for dropping the coagulant from the hopper G charged with the coagulant of the granular powder through the metering valve and spraying air to the diluting tank C is adopted.

Was difficult to manage. Further, in the case where the granular powder is sprayed and sent to the diluting tank C, the coagulant often absorbs moisture and sticks to the inside of the supply pipe, resulting in clogging, which is troublesome to maintain and requires a large equipment cost. There was a problem. Therefore, the present invention provides a method and an apparatus which can supply an appropriate amount of granular powder suitable for the treatment each time it is used, ensure good performance of the granular powder, and have a low equipment cost. .

Is an endless conveyor that travels by means of a forward reversal section arranged above the dilution tank C. On the conveyor 1, the fixtures K are arranged at predetermined intervals in the width direction.
As shown in FIG. 2, the fixture K is attached to the attachment plate 3 fixed to the conveyor 1 with the bolts 2, and the pair of receiving rods 4 having a semicircular cross section have their circular surfaces facing upward. It is welded. The rear end of the presser bar 5 arranged on the central concave surface 4a of the receiving rod 4 is rotatably supported on one end side of the mounting plate 3 by a bracket 6, and the presser bar 5 is attached to the other end side of the mounting plate 3. There is provided a locking member 7 for stopping the tip of the. The presser bar 5 is made of hard rubber and has flexibility. S is a bag filled with a coagulant of granular powder, and the tip portion Sa is cut and opened. Then, as shown in FIG. 3, the bottom portion Sb of the bag S is placed on the receiving rod 4 and the pressing rod 5 is tilted and bent to insert the tip of the holding member 7 into the locking member 7 to lock the bottom portion Sb of the bag S. Is pressed and held by the pressing rod 5 at the central concave surface of the receiving rod 4. The bags S are held by the fixtures K on the conveyors 1 on the upper running line with the tip end Sa facing upward so that the coagulant does not spill out. The number of the bags S is used for a predetermined time such as one day or overnight. The amount of processing to be performed is calculated and prepared. A limit switch 8 is provided in the vicinity of the reversing portion of the conveyor 1 and, although not shown, the contact operation thereof stops the driving of the motor to stop the traveling of the conveyor 1. Further, a stirring device (not shown) is arranged in the diluting tank C, and a diluting water supply pipe 9 is arranged above the diluting device, and after the diluting water is stored in the lower water storage tank E via the valve D. The conventional structure is such that a pump F supplies a settling tank (not shown). The operation will be described below. When the amount stored in the diluting tank C is detected by a liquid level detector or the like, and when the amount is less than a specified amount, water is supplied from the supply pipe 9 and the conveyor 1 is run. As a result, as shown in FIG. 1, the leading bag S held by the fixture K and placed on the conveyor 1 is reversely hung by the reversing portion of the conveyor 1 by its own weight, so that the flocculating agent has a tip portion. It drops from Sa into the dilution tank C. When the bag S is reversed, the bag S comes into contact with the limit switch 8 to stop the driving of the motor and stop the traveling of the conveyor 1. By repeating this operation, the coagulant in the bag S held on the conveyor 1 is intermittently supplied to the diluting tank C within a predetermined time. In this way, according to this example, the predetermined amount of the coagulant is taken out of the bag S and is supplied every time the need arises.
It can be easily attached to. Although this example is configured as described above, the present invention is not limited to this. In the method invention, the intermittent traveling means for attaching the granular powder bag is not limited, and the means for detachably attaching the granular powder bag is not limited. Regardless of the state in which the front end of the bag is opened, the front end of the bag may be folded to prevent moisture absorption of the granular powder, and the granular powder may be opened by its own weight when inverted. In the apparatus invention, the structure of the endless carrier is not limited, and a traveling device for intermittently traveling the carrier is also appropriate, and the proximity switch, a timer, or the like may be used for intermittent traveling. Furthermore, the shape and configuration of the bag for filling the granular powder with the open front end are arbitrary, and the configuration of the bag attachment provided intermittently on the carrier is not limited. In both the method invention and the apparatus invention, the type of granular powder to be filled in the bag is not limited, and the portion to be dropped and supplied is also appropriate, and is not limited to the diluting tank of this example.

Of. Further, according to the second aspect of the present invention, the carrier can be reliably stopped in the state where the bag is hung backward, so that the granular powder can be accurately supplied to the predetermined position. Further, in the invention of the apparatus, in addition to supplying a predetermined amount of granular powder from the bag whenever necessary, the bag can be easily attached and the equipment cost is low.
