(Refer to No. 1569), the temperature of the fixing roll has become relatively high at 180 to 220 ° C in recent years as the speed of the copying machine has increased, and at the same time the diameter of the fixing roll has increased to 40 to 50 mm or more.
As the shape of the tip of the peeling part of the nail changes (falls) and the coating layer wears and deteriorates, toner adheres to the tip of the peeling part and causes paper jam (paper jam). When the replacement frequency had to be increased, the shortcomings gradually became apparent.

It has succeeded in providing a separating nail that does not cause a jam. The separating claw of the present invention will be described in detail below. 1 and 2 show an example of the separating claw of the present invention, FIG. 1 is a side view of the separating claw viewed from the axial direction of the fixing roll, and FIG. FIG. 6 is a front view of the separation claw viewed from the supply side of the copy paper in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the fixing roll.

"Vespel SP" has the following polyimide structure, although P "is particularly preferably used: A preferred separating claw of the present invention is compression-molded with polyimide, and if necessary, cutting is performed to mold only the peeling portion, and the peeling portion thus obtained is further placed on an injection mold for supporting portion molding. ,
Then, a thermoplastic resin is injection-molded into the mold to support the support portion 2.
Is formed integrally with the peeling portion 1. What is preferably used for the injection molding of the support portion 2 is a thermoplastic resin selected from the group consisting of polyphenylene sulfide, polyether sulfone, thermoplastic polyester and polyether ketone, or a thermosetting resin. Among them, polyphenylene sulphide is preferably used.

手間を要した。The separating claw of the present invention has excellent performance in that paper jam does not occur even when a recent high speed copying machine is used. Since the diameter of the fixing roll of a high-speed copying machine is 40 to 70 mm, which is larger than that of the conventional machine, which is 20 to 30 mm, the paper leaving the fixing roll is more likely to hit the tip of the separation part of the separation claw and the fixing roll temperature is 180 to 70 mm. Since the temperature is relatively high at 220 ° C, with the conventional separation nail, the tip of the peeling part becomes worn and the coating layer wears, and toner easily adheres to and accumulates on the tip of the peeling part of the nail. With the above copying speed models, paper jams often occur at about 30,000 to 50,000 sheets. Therefore, for maintenance management such as cleaning the tip of the separating claws every 30,000 to 50,000 sheets or frequently replacing the separating claws. It took a lot of work.

Since the tip has precise dimensional accuracy, even though it is relatively inexpensive, even if it is used in a high-speed copying machine, the tip of the peeling part does not get settled and the coating layer does not wear, so toner accumulates on the tip of the peeling part It is difficult, and even if the copying speed is 60 sheets per minute or more, it has excellent performance unless paper jam is caused up to about 100 million sheets.
