線を検知して通電中のヒータをオフにする安全装置1を
備えてなることを特徴とするものである。しかして、サ
ーミスタThが断線した時には安全装置1により検知さ
れ、ヒータがオフにされるので、ヒータが暴走して発火
したり発煙したりすることを防止でき、温水洗浄装置の
安全性を高めることができるものである。 以下本発明の実施例を添付図に基いて詳述する。第2図
には、温水洗浄装置2の一例を示してある。温水洗浄装
置1は便器3の上に設置されており、使用時には、便座
4を適温に加熱でき、用便後にはノズル5から温水を吐
出させて肛門を洗浄し、洗浄後には温風吐出口6から温
風を送風して濡れた肛門を乾燥させるようになってい
る。そして、便座4の加温、温水の加熱あるいは温度の
加熱は夫々内蔵の専用ヒータ(図示せず)で行なわれて
いる。そして、便座4のヒータは暖房便座温度制御用の
サーミスタにより制御され、温水加熱用のヒータは洗浄
水温度制御用のサーミスタにより制御され、温風加熱用
のヒータは温風加熱制御用のサーミスタにより制御され

より構成される安全装置1が設けられている。安全装置
1は、オペアンプOPを用いた電圧比較回路により構成さ
れており、抵抗R1とサーミスタThとを電源Vccに直列に
接続して中点の電圧VaをオペアンプOPの非反転入力端子
に入力し、また抵抗R1と高抵抗Rとを電源Vccに直列に
接続して中点の電圧VbをオペアンプOPの反転入力端子に
入力している。ここで高抵抗Rの抵抗値はサースタThの
通常動作範囲における上限の抵抗値よりもかなり大きな
ものを用いている。例えば、使用環境がマイナス50℃に
なることがない場合であれば、高抵抗Rの抵抗値はサー
ミスタThのマイナス50℃の時の抵抗値よりも大きな値と
