As a backsheet of a disposable diaper, a laminate of a waterproof film and a non-woven fabric is proposed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 59-149903. In recent disposable body warmers, a laminate of a breathable waterproof film and a spunbonded nonwoven fabric is used as a covering material.

It is not preferable to use, and it is preferable to use a non-woven fabric having a low basis weight and excellent drape property and strength. As a non-woven fabric having flexibility or drape property, a non-woven fabric produced by a method of entanglement of fibers with a fluid (liquid or gas) is generally used. However, there is a problem in terms of lightness.

Further, as the breathable waterproof film, for example, a film obtained by making the above material porous by a stretching method, a solvent removal method, a vulcanization method, a foaming method or the like is used as the laminated base material. The thickness of such a waterproof or breathable waterproof film is preferably 50 μm or less, and more preferably about 5 to 35 μm as a laminated base material excellent in light weight and drapability.

の種々の公知手段を使用することができる。Here, a target nonwoven fabric is formed by expanding a raw fabric non-woven fabric obtained by fluid entanglement processing of a parallel web or a random web in the CD direction, and a raw fabric non-woven fabric obtained by fluid entanglement processing of a cross parallel web in the MD direction. Since the non-woven fabric manufactured by the fluid entanglement method is bonded by the inter-fiber entanglement, the expansion causes a decrease in the entanglement degree but a reduction in the strength, but the flexibility or the drape property is improved. In this respect, it differs from a melt-bonded non-woven fabric or a spun-bonded non-woven fabric produced by the fusion-bonding method in which the fusion-bonded portion is cut by expansion. The thus expanded non-woven fabric has very excellent drapability characteristic of the fluid-entangled non-woven fabric, and at the same time, has a breaking strength superior to that of the spunbonded non-woven fabric having almost the same weight. As the expanding means, various known means such as a tenter can be used.

For example, when hydrophobicity is desired, polyolefin fiber or the like is used, and when hydrophilicity is desired, rayon fiber or the like is used. In order to improve the weldability with the film, it is preferable to use a material similar to this. The fineness and fiber length of the fibers are not particularly limited, but those having a fineness of 0.5 to 15 d and a fiber length of 40 to 10 mm are used.

After releasing the expanding action, it may be adhered to the film. The expanded non-woven fabric shows a shrinkage of 10% or less after releasing the expansion action. If this shrinkage is not preferable, if heat setting is performed at 80 ° C or higher in the expanded state, the shrinkage does not occur even after the expansion action is released. . Further, at this time, it is also possible to heat-set after expanding the nonwoven fabric mixed with 10% (weight) or less, preferably 5% (weight) or less of heat fusion. The heat-set expanded nonwoven fabric is superior in strength to the non-heat treated nonwoven fabric but inferior in drape property. Nevertheless, it shows better strength and drape than spunbond. Whether to use the heat-set expanded non-woven fabric or the untreated expanded non-woven fabric can be used properly according to the application. In order to maintain the expanded state of the non-woven fabric stably in place of the heat set, prevent deterioration of the drape property due to the heat set, and impart a required strength, apply the fluid again in the expanded state of the non-woven fabric. It can also be processed by the confounding method. Further, for the purpose of only further improving the strength of the nonwoven fabric, the heat setting can be performed after the re-entanglement treatment.

In the lamination of the breathable waterproof film and the expanded non-woven fabric, partial adhesion is preferable in consideration of the obstruction of air permeability at the adhesion part.
If an EVA layer that forms a crack by stretching is used as the adhesive layer between the two, the cracked portion serves as a ventilation channel, so that a laminate having excellent adhesive strength and air permeability can be obtained. Specifically, (1) after embossing the original fabric and EVA layer,
A method of expanding both of them by a predetermined amount and joining them with a film,
(2) A method may be mentioned in which an EVA layer that has been stretched to form cracks is interposed between the film and the expanded non-woven fabric to join and integrate the three.

The fluid entangled non-woven fabric has very good drapability, and at the same time has excellent flexibility and strength, so that it does not impair the lightness and drapability of the film.
Therefore, the laminated body as a whole has such excellent performance.
