る。次に磁気媒体に接する面をシールドケース6と磁気
コア11の先端が同一面になるよう先端研磨を施し、磁気

(発明が解決しようとする課題) 上述の様に従来の磁気ヘッドの製造方法においては、磁

え部材2で固定することにより磁気コア11を形成するた
め、先端コア1b,8b同志の突合せは顕微鏡を用いて精度
良く行うことが出来るが、製造工程途上の運搬とか、あ
るいはシールドケース6にホールドケース3を挿入する
際に、この突合せ部に位置ズレを生じるという問題点が

ケース先端部から突出した前記突出部にて磁気コアの突
合せ精度を高める工程と、 前記シールドケース中に樹脂を注入し、シールドケース
内部を固定化する工程と、前記シールドケースから突出
した突出部を研磨又は切断、研磨する工程とからなるこ
とを特徴とした磁気ヘッドの製造方法を提供しようとす

コア23を構成するに際し、コの字状の切欠部20b,21bに

途上の磁気コアの位置ズレが少く、しかもシールドケー
スに組み込んだ後、位置ズレが生じたとしてもシールド
ケースの窓から磁気コアが突出しているため、外から容
易に位置ズレを修正することが可能となり、歩留りの向
