生の障害を防止することができる像形成装置を提供する
ことを目的とし、 像形成体及び光源より照射された光を像形成体に走査し
て形成された静電像をトナー現像する現像部を一体とし
て、或いは夫々単独にユニットに構成して着脱自在に装
着し、像形成体に形成されたトナー像を像形成体の上方
向に接して搬送される記録媒体に転写し、転写したトナ
ー像を定着して記録媒体を送出する像形成装置であっ
て、記録媒体の搬送方向に対して幅方向のユニットの上
面に記録媒体が通過する幅より大きい距離を置いて対向
して設けられた複数の支持板に、コ字形に形成された把
手のコ字形の両辺の先端部の外側を回動自在に取り付
