を使用してなる水道管分岐栓取り替え方法であって、前

面にねじ孔を形成して、このねじ孔部に軟質金属からな
る埋込部材の外周面に設けられた雄ねじ部を螺合して封
栓状態とすることを特徴とし、また、装置として、両端
に雄ねじ部を有し水道本管の管壁に穿設されたねじ孔に
取付部の雄ねじ部を螺合して連通状態に固着された分岐
栓と別の分岐栓とを水道水流を停止せずに取り換える際
に使用する装置であって、前記固着分岐栓の水道本管に
おける外方側の端部に取り付けられる略筒形状をもつと
ともに一端に前記固着分岐栓の水道本管における外方側
の端部に螺合される雌ねじ部と該雌ねじ部終端部にシー
ル材を有する開閉可能な封水部材と、この封水部材の外
方側端部に取り付けられ端壁部に上下移動自在であって
かつ回転可能な軸部材が挿通支持された略有底筒状の支
持部材と、前記軸部材の水道本管側端部に着脱自在に取
り付けられ前記固着分岐栓の取付部を除く内周壁を拡径
穿設するドリルと、前記軸部材の水道本管側端部に着脱
自在に取り付けられ前記固着分岐栓の取付部の内周面に
軟質金属からなる埋込部材の外周部の雄ねじ部を螺合す
るためのねじ孔を穿設するねじタップとを備えてなるも
のであることにより、以下の効果を奏する。

記軸部材の水道本管側端部に着脱自在に取り付けられ前
記固着分岐栓の取付部を除く内周壁を拡径穿設するドリ
ルと、前記軸部材の水道本管側端部に着脱自在に取り付
けられ前記固着分岐栓の取付部の内周面に軟質金属から
なる埋込部材の外周部の雄ねじ部を螺合するためのねじ
孔を穿設するねじタップとを備えた装置を使用してなる
水道管分岐栓取り替え方法であって、前記固着分岐栓の
他端雄ねじ部に前記封水部材の雌ねじ部を螺合し、前記
固着分岐栓を通して埋込部材を取付け部内に埋め込んで
封栓状態となし、その後固着分岐栓の取付部の水道本管
外周面と略同位置部分を切断して水道本管の該取付部取
付け部分あるいは他の部分に封水装置付のドリルを用い
てねじ孔を形成しこのねじ孔に別の分岐栓の取付部の外
周部の雄ねじ部を螺合して取り付けることを特徴とする
水道管の分岐栓取り換え方法。
