ト17の斜め内方には排気ファン20が設けられているた
め、定着ユニット17内で発生した加熱気体は、電源18等
から発生した加熱気体とともに排気ファン20により直接
吸引されて装置本体の背面へ排出され、またこの定着ユ
ニット17から紙搬送経路4に沿ってクリーニングブレー
ド11a、感光体ドラム10、現像ユニット15のもとへと上
昇しようとする加熱気体は、定着ユニット17とクリーニ
ングユニット11との隙間から紙搬送経路4に直接作用す
る吸引力により効果的に吸引されて装置本体の背面へと
排出され、感光体ドラム10やトナーに及ぼす熱の影響等
を皆無にする。

配設したことを特徴とする画像形成装置。
