信とを切り替える為の第1の切替スイッチ、4は受信時
刻の情報及びファクシミリ通信中に送られて来る発信元
情報に対応した音声信号を発生する音声発生手段であ
り、指定されたアドレスに対応する音声信号を発生する
音声合成LSIで構成されている。5は発呼側から送られ
て来る音声信号とファクシミリ信号とを識別する受信信
号識別手段、6はファクシミリ通信中に送られて来る発
信元情報を検出する発信元情報検出手段、7は発呼側か
らの信号を画信号受信部8又は応答メッセージ手段1及
び受信メッセージ手段2の何れかに択一的に接続する為
の第2の切替スイッチ、9は電話回線11を閉結・開放す
る為の回線閉結手段、10は電話回線11を到来する着信信
号を検出する為の着信検出手段、12は電話回線11より到
来する遠隔制御信号を検出する為の遠隔制御信号検出手
段、13は本装置全体の動作制御を行う制御手段でありマ
イクロコンピュータで構成されている。

力され、制御手段13の内部の記憶手段(RAM(ランダム
アクセスメモリー))13aに記憶される(STEP8)。ファ
クシミリ信号受信終了後、制御手段13は出力端子P71に
よって受信メッセージ手段2を起動し(STEP9)、記憶
