2. Description of the Related Art As is well known in the conventional papermaking of seaweed, the seaweed attached to the cage is dehydrated by a sponge after the papermaking is completed, and then dried by a dryer. In this way, the sponge used for dehydrating seaweed adheres to the surface and enters the inside of the sponge such as sludge and pieces of seaweed after the end of the day's work, so wash it before reuse. These must be removed. Conventionally, the removal work of these has been carried out by putting a sponge in water, pressing and washing, and manually washing the surface by rubbing it with a piece of porcelain or the like. Also, as a method using a machine, a device in which a sponge is sent out by rollers and washed with a rotating brush while pouring water is also adopted, but this device cannot completely remove dirt inside the sponge.

In recent years, these efforts have been made to solve these conventional problems, and the number of the actual public is 61-33908 (A) The actual public 61-33909 (B)
The devices of 61-152293 and JP-A-57-74064 (C) have been proposed. In the above, both the devices A and B have a small processing capacity and are not always satisfactory in the cleaning effect, and further, in the device B, the operation when the sponge circulates is uncertain. Next, the device C has a great improvement from the above A and B in terms of processing capacity and cleaning effect, but it requires a lot of time to attach and detach the sponge, and the device requires a separate attaching and detaching member. There is a problem in operability such as a sponge without a seal that cannot be washed and the detachable member is peeled off during operation, so that all of them cannot be satisfied.

When a predetermined number of sponges 17 (10 sheets in the embodiment) have been set as described above, the motor 21, which has been jogging or rotating at a low speed, is rotated at a constant speed and water supply is started at the same time. As a result, the sponge 17 set in the above is circulated and transferred continuously over the circulatory transfer path 3 constituted by the transfer means 1 and the cleaning section 2. When the sponge 17 thus transferred passes through the cleaning section 2, the sponge 17 containing water by the water supply from the water supply pipe 9
As shown in FIG. 3, the upper and lower dewatering rollers 18 are pressed and compressed to squeeze out the water content inside, and when the pressing force is released, water absorption expansion is performed again, and this compression expansion is continued. By doing so, not only the pieces of seaweed adhering to the surface of the sponge 17 but also the sludge invading the inside of the sponge 17 floated up to the surface by a kind of pump action and was reliably washed and removed, and was squeezed out from the sponge 17. Sewage drains 20
Since it flows through the inside of the dehydration roller 18 and is drained,
The sponge 17 will not be contaminated again by the squeezed sewage. The wash water is discharged to the outside of the machine from the water receiver 27 provided at the lower part.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, a circulation transfer path capable of circulating transfer with a sponge sandwiched therebetween is provided, and an opening through which the sponge can be taken in and out is provided in the middle of the circulation transfer path to circulate the sponge that is cyclically transferred. Since the cleaning section located in the middle of the transfer path is used for repeated cleaning, even during the cleaning operation, the sponge cleaning section can be repeatedly cleaned by simply inserting the sponge into the circulation transfer path from the opening, and the cleaning is completed. The sponge can be easily taken out from the opening during the washing operation,
The sponge can be washed easily and quickly. Further, by continuously inserting the sponge into the circulation transfer path, a large number of sponges can be repeatedly washed, and the washing ability can be increased. Since a part of the circulation transfer path is used as the cleaning section and the sponge is positioned on the circulation transfer path, the apparatus can be downsized despite the large processing capacity.
