Conventionally, pump equipment for water intake from a river is installed, for example, as shown in FIG. That is, since a machine station 2 and a building 3 are provided on the riverbed in the embankment 1, a pump facility 4 is installed in the machine station 2, water is taken in through a water absorption pipe 5, and water is sent to fields and other supply points via a pipe 6. is there.

In the above conventional pump equipment 4, an indoor pump or a submersible pump is mainly used. Of these, submersible pumps are used for relatively small-scale pump equipment, but the pumps themselves are expensive and have a short service life.
Due to the complexity of maintenance, indoor pumps are relatively widely used. However, in the case of the indoor pump, there is no particular problem when the river is at the normal water level W 1 , but when the water level increases to the water level W 2 during heavy rain, the pump facility 4 may be submerged or submerged. Therefore, in order to avoid these unforeseen circumstances, for example, the station 2 should be constructed with waterproof reinforced concrete and the river should be at the water level.
In the case of swollen to W 2 also, the pump facility 4 is prevented from flooding or submergence is generally. For this reason, it is extremely difficult to select the installation location of the pump equipment 4, and the size of the machine site becomes large, resulting in an increase in construction costs.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, in the present invention, an airtight waterproof cover is provided outside a pump facility which is connected to an electric motor and a pump provided on a foundation so that power can be transmitted. An intake port and an exhaust port of an exhaust fan are installed at a lower portion of the waterproof cover at substantially the same height, and the inside and outside of the waterproof cover are communicated with each other, and the electric motor and the exhaust fan are located at a position higher than the intake port and the exhaust port. We adopted the technical means of providing it in the.

With the above configuration, when the river is at a normal water level, the exhaust fan has the effect of promoting the circulation of air inside and outside the waterproof cover to prevent the temperature from rising. Even if the entire pump equipment is submerged due to increased water in the river, the compressed air pressure inside the waterproof cover and the water pressure outside the waterproof cover are balanced, so the water level inside the waterproof cover may reach the position of the electric motor or exhaust fan. You can expect the effect of blocking.

FIG. 1 is an explanatory view of the principle of the present invention. In the figure, an electric motor 11 that is a component of pump equipment is installed on a foundation 10, and the waterproof cover 12 is airtight on the outside of the electric motor 11 and has an opening (not shown) at the bottom for communicating the inside and the outside. To arrange. And for example, when the water level river is swollen is to have reached the W 2, water entering from the lower portion of the opening in the waterproof cover 12, the depth H of the water level W 2 compresses the air in the waterproof cover 12 At the water level W B of the air pressure P in the waterproof cover 12,
The hydrostatic pressure corresponding to the depth H is balanced. Therefore, by providing the electric motor 11 at a position higher than the balanced water level W B , the electric motor 11 can exhibit its original function without being flooded or submerged.

2 and 3 are a longitudinal sectional view and a lateral sectional view, respectively, of the essential part showing an embodiment of the present invention, in which the same parts are referred to as the first embodiment.
The same reference numerals as in the figure are used. In both figures, 13 is a pump, which is installed on the foundation 10 and has a suction pipe 14 and a discharge pipe, respectively.
Along with connecting 15 and directly connecting to the electric motor 11, it is possible to send water. Next, the waterproof cover 12, for example, from the middle part to the upper part 12
It can be divided into a and lower part 12b, and a part of lower part 12b
The upper part 12a is formed in a semicircular cross section while being embedded inside. For example, a flange 12 is provided at the dividing portion between the upper portion 12a and the lower portion 12b.
Place c to reinforce the divided parts. The waterproof cover 12 is a reinforcing rib 1 on the outside of a cover plate 12d made of, for example, a steel plate.
2e is installed to provide strength that can withstand water pressure. In addition, a sufficient airtightness is provided between the suction pipe 14 and the discharge pipe 15 through the engagement with the waterproof cover 12 through, for example, packing. Next, the exhaust fan 16 is provided in the waterproof cover 12, and the exhaust port 17 is opened outward from the lower portion 12b of the waterproof cover 12. Reference numeral 18 denotes an intake port, which is provided at substantially the same height as the exhaust port 17 and communicates the inside and outside of the waterproof cover 12. The electric motor 11 and the exhaust fan 16
Are installed at a position higher than the intake port 18 and the exhaust port 17. Reference numeral 19 is a manhole, which is provided in a part of the upper portion 12a of the waterproof cover 12 and is normally provided with airtightness and kept in a closed state.

Next, the operation of the above configuration will be described. First, when the river (not shown) is in a normal state,
The exhaust fan 16 in the waterproof cover 12 is driven to suck in air from the intake port 18 to forcibly circulate in the waterproof cover 12 and discharge it from the exhaust port 17. By the forced circulation of the air, for example, heat generated in the electric motor 11 can be released to the outside of the waterproof cover 12. The heat inside the waterproof cover 12
Although it can be released to the outside via d, the cooling action can be completed by the forced circulation of air as described above.

Next, when the water level rises to W 2 due to the increase in water in the river, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, the water discharge cover 12 becomes submerged below the water surface. In this case, the drive of the exhaust fan 16 is immediately stopped (it is desirable to automatically stop it through a sensor or the like). However, the lower portion 12b of the waterproof cover 12 should communicate with the inside and outside of the waterproof cover 12. Since the intake port 18 and the exhaust port 17 are provided in the, the water enters the waterproof cover 12. However, the waterproof cover 12 has airtightness, and the electric motor 11 and the exhaust fan 16 have the above-mentioned intake port 18
Further, since it is provided at a position higher than the exhaust port 17, it is possible to prevent the water level from reaching the electric motor 11 and the exhaust fan 16 by the principle shown in FIG. 1, and avoid the loss of function due to flooding or flooding. You can do it.

FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of an essential part showing another embodiment of the present invention, and the same parts are designated by the same reference numerals as those in FIGS. 1 to 3. In the figure, 19 is an air supply pipe, one end of which is connected to, for example, a compressed air source (not shown), and the other end of which is a waterproof cover.
Open within 12. In the case of the present embodiment, the electric motor 11 is set to be less than the intake port 18 and the exhaust port 17 due to the suction performance of the pump such that the height H S between the pump (not shown) and the water level W S becomes relatively large. This is effective when it cannot be installed in a high position. That can prevent flooding or flooding of said way waterproof if the water level by flooding the cover 12 is long and balanced by W B motor 11, when the water level of the river rises to W 2, the waterproof cover 12 pneumatic P 'balance level between the hydrostatic pressure W B' of the inner is inconvenient rises. Therefore, when the balance water level rises abnormally, this water level is detected by a sensor or the like, and compressed air is supplied from the air pipe 19 to the waterproof cover 12.
It is supplied inside and the balance water level is suppressed below the installation height of the electric motor 11. The above compressed air supply is
For example, even when a part of the waterproof cover 12 leaks airtight, it is effective in suppressing the balance water level.

FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an installed state of a waterproof device for pump equipment according to the present invention. In the case of a horizontal axis spiral pump having a diameter of 300 mm, the waterproof cover 12 can be constructed by a steel plate structure with a floor area of 6.5 m 2 and a height of 2.2 m. The conventional structure shown in Fig. 6 has a floor area of 18.4 m. 2 Compared with the reinforced concrete structure having a height of 11.9 m, it can be seen that the effectiveness of the present invention is great.
