Claims (5)
- 휴대 인터넷 시스템의 액티브 세트 관리 방법을 설계함에 있어서, 신호조건 이외에 단말의 이동 습성에 대한 통계적인 자료를 활용하여 액티브 세트과 준 액티브 세트으로 구분 운영하는 것을 특징으로 하는 OFDMA-TDMA기반 휴대인터넷 시스템에서 액티브 세트의 관리 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,단말은 현 위치에서 이웃 기지국들로 이동할 확률을 과거 경험치를 바탕으로 운영하고 있고, 액티브 세트 대상 기지국들 중에서 단말이 기지국으로 이동할 확률이 시스템에서 운영하는 어느 임계치 보다 작으면, 이를 준 액티브 세트에 편입하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 OFDMA-TDMA기반 휴대인터넷 시스템에서 액티브 세트의 관리 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,액티브 세트은 단말이 필요한 대역폭의 자원 예약과 MAC Context 공유를 수행하는 반면, 준 액티브 세트은 자원 예약을 생략하고 MAC Context 공유만을 수행하도록 하는 등, 사전 핸드오버의 정도에 따라 액티브 세트에 레벨을 두도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 OFDMA-TDMA기반 휴대인터넷 시스템에서 액티브 세트의 관리 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,단말이 기지국을 액티브 세트 및 준 액티브 세트에 편입하는 절차에 있어서, 이웃 기지국 들 중에 하나의 기지국을 선정하여 DCD 정보로부터 H_Add를 얻는 단계와, 단말이 운용중인 CINR의 평균값이 H_Add보다 높은 지 여부를 점검하는 단계와, 만일 그렇다면 이번에는 그 기지국으로 이동할 확률이 임계치 보다 큰지 여부를 점검하는 단계와, 만일 임계치보다 크다면 그 기지국은 단말의 액티브 세트에 편입되며 그렇지 않다면, 준 액티브 세트에 편입하는 단계와, 액티브 세트에 편입되면 단말이 필요한 대역폭을 예약하고, 다른 기지국으로부터 MAC 컨텍스트(MAC Context)를 얻어 공유하는 절차를 수행하는 단계와, 만일 준 액티브 세트에 편입되면 대역폭 예약 절차는 하지 않고, MAC 컨텍스트를 공유하는 절차만 수행하는 단계를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 OFDMA-TDMA기반 휴대인터넷 시스템에서 액티브 세트의 관리 방법.
- 단말과 기지국들간 액티브 세트을 갱신하는 정보흐름에 있어서,단말이 기지국에게 액티브 세트을 갱신을 요청하는 MAC 메시지인 MSHO-REQ내에 Candidate Active BS Set이외에 Candidate Semi-Active BS Set파라미터를 추가하는 것과 기지국이 액티브 세트 갱신을 수락하는MAC 메시지인 BSHO-RSP내에 Active BS Set이외에 Semi-Active BS Set 파라미터를 추가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 OFDMA-TDMA기반 휴대인터넷 시스템에서 액티브 세트의 관리 방법.
