I'm super late to this party, but I FINALLY got everything to work on my laptop and bought chapter 8. And I'm just... wow. The confession. THE CONFESSION! I was hemming and hawing wether or not my Detective would be able to spill the beans yet or not, but Flea's reaction was so bittersweet and the whole moment was so beautifully raw and tender. I can't even articulate how painfully it fit in with my headcanons to hurt AND comfort my Detective in a very torturous way. Loved it. Loved it SO MUCH! Thank you for the story so far, hope you're doing well!^^
