Engineered, written, and performed entirely by independent multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, and Air Force Veteran Matthew "Matty" Hans, PhD, the project stands at the razor-edge intersection of aggressive late-90s punk energy, modern melodic metalcore, and raw academic research. The project’s DNA is directly tied to Hans’ unique background. A former punk drummer turned aircraft structures in Georgia then stealth coatings maintenance with a Top Secret clearance, applying Low Observable coatings on F-22’s in Alaska. It was there— in an SCIF overhearing elite tactical debriefs of physics-defying aerial phenomena but impacted him years later as Hans eventually transitioned to academia, earning a PhD in Parapsychology and Paranormal Sciences.
