Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026
1. Introduction
At TinyLaunchpad, we highly value the protection of your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us:
- Account information (name, email address, password, or OAuth identifiers from Google / GitHub if you sign in that way)
- Profile information (username, photo, bio, social links)
- Content you publish (project submissions, logos, screenshots, descriptions, comments, upvotes)
- Payment information for paid launches (handled directly by our payment provider Polar — we only receive an order confirmation, customer email, country, and invoice details, not your full card data)
- Communications with us (emails, support requests, abuse reports)
Information automatically collected:
- Usage data (pages visited, time spent, interactions, upvotes given)
- Device information (device type, operating system, browser)
- Country (for VAT calculation and analytics)
- Anti-bot signals (via Cloudflare Turnstile) when submitting forms, to keep spam out of the moderation queue
Information about your submitted product: When you submit a project, we automatically fetch publicly available content from the website URL you provide (HTML, meta tags, images). For paid “Blog Article + Premium Launch” orders, this content is also passed to our AI provider (DeepSeek) to generate the review article. We do not fetch content behind logins, paywalls, or that is otherwise non-public.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our platform
- Create and manage your account
- Process your transactions and issue refunds where applicable
- Manually moderate and approve submissions, and remove content that violates our Terms of Service
- Generate AI-written review articles for paid Blog Article + Premium orders using the public content of your submitted website
- Send transactional emails (launch confirmations, scheduling, payment receipts, approval / rejection notifications)
- Send our weekly newsletter, which features the top 3 ranked launches (“winners”) from the previous week and all Premium / Blog Article + Premium launches scheduled for the current week. The newsletter is sent to all registered users who have not opted out — you can unsubscribe at any time from your account settings.
- Personalize your experience and show relevant projects
- Ensure the security of our platform (anti-spam, anti-vote-manipulation, abuse detection)
- Comply with legal obligations (VAT, accounting, lawful requests)
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with the third- party service providers we rely on to run TinyLaunchpad, and only to the extent strictly needed:
- Supabase — managed PostgreSQL database for storing accounts, projects, comments, upvotes
- Polar — payment processing, invoicing, VAT handling for paid launches
- Resend — sending transactional emails and the weekly newsletter
- UploadThing — hosting and serving uploaded images (logos, screenshots)
- Google & GitHub — OAuth sign-in (only if you choose to use them)
- Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-bot protection on submission forms
- DeepSeek — AI generation of review articles for paid Blog Article + Premium orders, using the public content of your submitted website
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookie-less site analytics
- Discord webhooks — internal notifications to our team about new submissions and launches (your email is not shared, only the public listing metadata)
We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights, to investigate violations of our Terms of Service, or with your explicit consent.
