My favorite perk is to work with my students 100% online. I earned my PhD in E-learning, and it is rewarding to collaborate with our students and offer them the best digital modality that fosters their individual learning preference.

Every interaction matters because it sets the tone for the culture that we’re trying to create at National University, and allowing us to be positive, to build each other up.
I am thankful to work for an organization that invests in our professional development, our health, but also our long-term goals. We are constantly evolving to meet the demands of the workforce and we keep evolving to be better.
It’s a dynamic and collaborative environment, filled with hard-working, dedicated, and enthusiastic coworkers.
We have these moments in students’ lives where somebody shows up and can make a difference. That little moment can mean everything to that student. We want to be there for those moments and make those moments matter.
We can be the support the students need to change their lives. They may not have a lot of support in their daily lives. Every interaction matters also includes coworkers. You never know what people are going through.

Transforming Lives Through Education
At National University, people are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that creating a supportive and collaborative environment helps students, faculty, and staff reach their full potential and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
We’re committed to fostering a culture where every individual is valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Through programs and initiatives designed to promote personal and professional growth, we aim to provide resources and opportunities that help our community thrive.
We are especially proud to support military-affiliated students and their families. With 25% of our student body made up of servicemembers, Veterans, spouses, and dependents, we recognize and appreciate the dedication, discipline, and experience they bring. As a Veteran-Ready Org™, we actively recruit and support military-affiliated professionals who play an important role in guiding and inspiring others along their academic and professional paths.
Joining National University means becoming part of a mission-driven community where you’ll find connection, encouragement, and the tools you need to grow and achieve your goals.

Creating an Environment Where Every Student Belongs
At NU, we believe that education should reflect the evolving needs of the students we serve today. That’s why we are dedicated to removing barriers and creating opportunities that help each student reach their fullest potential. The Whole Human Council plays a key role in ensuring that NU remains a place where students—regardless of their starting point—can thrive.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)
National University is aware of incidents where criminals are using company brands to post fictitious job descriptions and send fraudulent job offers. In some cases, these individuals may ask for money, banking details, Social Security numbers, or other personal information under false pretenses.
These scams have become more sophisticated and can appear as legitimate recruitment activities. They are often found on third-party job boards, social media platforms, or through direct email approaches.
This type of scam, known as recruitment fraud, is becoming increasingly common.
National University takes this matter seriously and works actively to prevent the misuse of our brand for fraudulent activity. At no point will National University ever ask for money, credit card details, or bank account information as part of the recruitment process. We encourage all job seekers to exercise caution when sharing personal information and to verify any job-related communications.
How to Ensure a Job Offer is Legitimate
- We conduct interviews before extending any job offer. Any offer received without an interview is likely fraudulent.
- All official communications from National University will come from an @nu.edu email address or [email protected].
- All open positions are posted on our official Careers Page at www.nu.edu/careers.
- Candidates can check their application status through the Workday Candidate Portal as part of our standard recruitment process.
- If contacted via LinkedIn or email, verify the sender and confirm any job opportunity through our Careers Page.
How to Identify a Phishing Scam
- Be cautious of generic emails – Scammers often send vague job offers with little or no specific information about the position or company.
- Check email addresses carefully – National University emails will always come from @nu.edu. Be wary of messages from free email services (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) or misspelled company domains.
- Never provide financial information or make payments – National University never asks for payments or banking details during the recruitment process.
- Beware of “too-good-to-be-true” job offers – If a job promises extremely high pay with little to no experience required, it is likely fraudulent.
How to Report a Suspicious Job Offer
If you receive a suspicious communication regarding a job offer, do not respond, click links, or provide personal information. Instead, report it to [email protected].
