I find it so... weird how people will write these passive aggressive posts like "why are you making these long posts? why should I care? you're not changing MY mind!!" when someone criticizes a character/actor/player in the Crit Role fandom or writes thoughtout meta that isn't purely praise.
It's such a, idk, navel gaze-y outlook. Maybe, perchance, they aren't trying to change your mind about anything (it's more likely than not that they don't even know you exist to begin with), maybe they simply enjoy talking about certain subjects, or enjoy analyzing why some things work and others don't, enjoy analyzing patterns of behaviour and how they affect the game etc etc
The knee jerk reaction of reacting to such posts as if you've been thrust into a debate club and you must hold your ground is only harmful for you because you'll end up pavloving yourself into reacting to anything other than meta/analysis/criticism that aligns with your views and opinions as an attack or an argument that must be won.

tbh fjorester was also one of those "if you can't acknowledge the ship, you can't meaningfully discuss the characters" pairings to the point where it was extremely telling that for all the whining that happened during c2 about how "no one talks about Jester unless it's about shipping!!!1", the few people who actually did regularly write meta about Jester both as her own character and her platonic and familial relationships outside of romantic ships were almost exclusively also fjorester shippers or at the very least not anti-fjorester.
also not to make this about me (lies, I love making things about me,) but remember when I went through like a two month streak where almost every post I made about where I thought Jester's at emotionally after any given episode was explicitly confirmed in either the next two episodes or on a Talks appearance? Fjord might "nOT unDeRStANd jeStER" but I sure as fuck do, and I say she and Fjord are near perfect for each other.

oh! I honestly didn't put much thought into any particular theories or how the faction swap would affect their personalities? I just did it mostly to see how I could interpret their classes and overall outfits but in a different faction, so basically a character design exercise lol, you're welcome to come up with any theories you'd like honestly!
