Another WIP, this time for @thekingkhaos
So far this is my first poster idea for our lovely Murkoff Corporation, maybe I'll do more, maybe not.
This is just a quick sketch, (possibly) more poster variants will be in form of final colored and stylized versions. It's supposed to be something similar to propaganda poster, but also an ad(?) in its own way with the addition of brick as an option for throwing. Because we love bricks.
I also may change "with Murkoff" to "for Murkoff", which feels more... not shady... Because we also love Murkoff, and Murkoff loves us.
Still chipping away at a Tsunami design I’m happy with. And her boyfriend’s here, too (and a smaller, earlier conceptual version of him). They’re a little too similar looking for my liking, so I’ll probably revisit Riptide and sharpen him up. I had another design for him I had forgotten about so I’ll probably merge the two.
Trying to lean into the “flowy” design motif for Tsunami, so her linework is supposed to be swept back and smooth. Riptide is supposed to have more of a jagged feel (riptide just feels like a jagged word to me), but he still has some friendly roundness to him. In the future, I want to make his horns sharper and his ‘hair’ a little more loose and playful looking. Yes, I did give him a little eyebrow notch.

I wanted to add some blood on the piece of clothing, but decided to go against it and leave it like this
Also the notes of the song should be correct, but who knows...
Also also I think I finally found a way to shade and color and all in a style that I am comfortable and satisfied with :D

Some old oc stuff I did two or three years back :)
These are some quick sketches I did during class back in the day. There was some lore behind each of them, and it brought back some nice memories, so I might remake them.
(Plus some original lore behind each character, probably going to change it later)
Devil-looking man: Adrik, owns a small bar where he serves other creatures/monsters drinks. Unpaid babysitter as side job.
Octopus lady (siren??): (no name yet), singer? (mostly jazz and slow music), likes fashion, friend of Adrik. She often visits Adrik, or leaves her adopted kid for him to babysit.
Anglerfish kid: (no name yet), adopted by octopus lady, can't speak much because of how his teeth are, likes to nibble on Adrik's tail. His light glows when he's overwhelmed with positive emotions/is happy in general. Likes to explore Adrik's bar and steal drinks to try them out.
