IM LOSING MY MIND?? WHERE DID THE BREAD COME FROM. WHY IS IT SIDEWAYS. WHAT IS HAPPENING

The way everyone just paused before just putting more tofu on XD

A game I worked on is on switch!.... right? well...

So sun haven has been out for a while. Other people have posted about these issues (like my friend kyle and my partner meg a few times)

But heres the thing. It just came out on switch and it still doesn't have credits. It's been out of early access for over a year and playable on steam for even longer and still no credits anywhere (unless you backed the game on kickstarter yay).

And this sucks!! It sucks to have this really nasty feelings about this game. It sucks to be suspicious about WHY there arent credits. It sucks to see the developers looking to hire more and more people and I'm sitting here thinking "are these potential hires okay with never being credited for their work?"

And this isn't just about me and my work. I've mostly moved on from this. But there have been *tons* of people who worked on sun haven despite what they might try to pass off in their discord. I've spoken with a lot of people who worked on the project. Theres a lot of amazing skill that went into this game and it's just sitting there. Who made this game? Well pixel sprout studios! Who works for pixel sprout studios? Good question.

I Wrote A Visual Novel

Hey all!

Today marks the release of the final chapter of my visual novel, Undefeated.

The story follows Zander, a lightweight MMA fighter joining a professional fighting league in an underground facility. Due to a glitch in the matchmaking system, he ends up fighting the current heavyweight champion.

On top of that, his contract requires him to continue fighting his previous opponent until he can score a win. From here, Zander spends months training, fighting, and learning, not only about himself, but of the people he meets in this facility.

It's been a long process, but I'm so thankful I was able to cross the finish line. If you're interested in drama, romance, and fights, please read Undefeated.

Art by N the Raptor, Dokoats, and Horrorbuns (and Dokoats again).

There Are No Credits in Sun Haven: 1.5 Edition

I hesitated making this post because at this point I'm beating a dead horse. It is a horse that continues to go unacknowledged by the higher ups at Pixel Sprout, but the fact of the matter is I have nothing really to add. In the end, though, there's a couple of things I want to say.

First: Thank you to everyone who is pushing for credits in the Discord. You have a lot more power and a more direct voice in the matter than I do here on Tumblr. I don't post in the Discord very much because I worry I'd get banned for talking shit, but I do lurk and it brightens my day any time I see people taking up arms for the cause.

I want to share this:

This is a screenshot from Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago. It's credits! You only see them at the true end of the game, but they're there! And look-- Kyle Templeton, my partner and ex-Sun Haven artist, is there! He can add it to his resume and portfolio! I highly encourage you to play Yolk Heroes and leave a review of it on Steam. It's $8, less than several Sun Haven DLC packages:

@bugbearstew has a happy ending in all this, but it's important to keep fighting for all the artists who aren't so lucky yet. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for using your voice for a good cause. 💜
