15. What is something about your OC that can make you laugh?
I find him being extremely out of touch/self-centered very funny. I really like the idea of him thinking he is a self-made man, and not realizing everything he has is because hes a privileged nepobaby.

12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?
I have a difficult time keeping his scar consistent unfortunately. I also feel like I don't make him look as rough he should; He's only 33, but he has had a pharmacologically full life.
14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
I always have to remind myself that he is in 40k when drawing his clothing bc I'll draw him in waaay too modern. I also have to remind myself that he IS in a position of power, so realistically he should not be as pathetic/incompetent as he is in my head;o;

I would say sorta a combo of appearance and backstory. I really like playing as a pyromancer in games, so wanted a character where that played a part in his appearance/identity. (dead last is his name, I got his name from a name generator lol)
4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?
I really love psykers, hive worlds, and horrible characters, so I decided he would be a hive noble 2nd son. His parents neglected him emotionally bc not the heir; but he was spoiled materially, and surrounded by the worst people in the imperium. I really like the idea of someone living a life of obligation-free luxury hedonism, and then thrust into being a 40k psyker.

18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?
I realized he is just a combination of two main characters from a comic I was working on in ~2019(it started with a pandemic...) He had a facial scar that he got in a really lame way. He would fail upwards, and end up really out of his depth. He had a bad relationship with a sibling (sister in the comic). I would draw him+the other mc constantly, and I think that's why I've been stuck drawing him for the past few months lol (if you saw me drawing a half dead looking brunette man, or a scowling blonde woman during covid that was them lol)
19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?
The fact that he is a deadbeat dad. or anything to do with his brother, but I dont think I have posted much about his older brother on here

I should be doing more to appreciate the lack of marvel movies in today's popular culture. I once yearned for marvel movies to have this level of irrelevance. They used to feel almost ozymandian, like an empire that had no beginning and no end. and now tony stark iron man is naught but two vast and trunkless legs of stone.
