T・J・ペンペル（T. J. Pempel、1942年12月5日-）は、アメリカの政治学者。専門は、比較政治学、政治経済学、日本政治論。

略歴

ニューヨーク州生まれ。高校卒業後、アメリカ海兵隊に入隊し、4年間過ごした。1964年にコロンビア大学に進学し、1972年に博士号取得。コーネル大学、コロラド大学、ウィスコンシン大学マディソン校、ワシントン大学で教鞭をとった後、2001年7月からカリフォルニア大学バークレー校政治学部教授。2002年から2007年まで同大学東アジア研究所の所長を務めた。
