Fly540（Five Forty Aviation Ltd ）は、ケニアのナイロビに拠点を置く格安航空会社である[1]。
歴史
2006年11月24日、ナイロビ-モンバサ間で運航を開始した。社名のFly540は、この路線の運賃を5,540KShにしたことに由来している。
ロンロー・アフリカが、49%の株式を150万米ドルで購入した[2]。
2路線目として、2007年1月にキスムに就航し、2007年2月には、ナイロビ-マリンディ-ラム線の運航を開始した[3]。
2007年10月、初の国際線として、南スーダンのジュバ、コンゴ民主共和国のゴマに就航した。2008年2月には、ウガンダのエンテベに就航した[4]。
2012年6月、英国の投資会社Rubicon Diversified Investments(現Fastjet Plc )に8,570万ドルで売却された。ヨーロッパ第2位の格安航空会社であるイージージェットをモデルに、アフリカでFly540を運営すると発表した。
2022年11月、虚偽広告、欠航時の通知が直前で不十分だったこと、払い戻しの遅延に関する苦情を受け、運航停止を命じられた[5][6]。
2025年には、リース導入した航空機の返還を命じられた[7]。
