Tony Sloane
I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department
of Computing in the Division of Information and Communication Sciences
at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. From 2005 I will be Head of Department.
My research interests are in programming language design and implementation,
language processor generation, and programming environments and tools.
Recently, I've worked mainly on the Eli
language processor generation system, domain-specific languages (particularly
using functional languages) and software for handheld computing devices. |

I received a B.Sc.(Hons)(1984) in Computer
Science from the Australian National
University and a M.S.(1991) and Ph.D.(1993) in Computer
Science from the University of Colorado,
Boulder. Prior to joining Macquarie University in February 1998, I
worked as a lecturer in the Department
of Computer Science at James Cook
University in Townsville, QLD, Australia. I am a member of the ACM,
and the IEEE Computer Society. |
