Ingredients

  1. 500 g flour
  2. 4 tsp baking powder
  3. 1/2 cup  butter
  4. 1 cup sugar
  5. 2 eggs
  6. grated zest of one lemon
  7. 1 shot maraschino liquer
  8. 1/2 cup milk
  9. 1 egg, sligtly whisked
  10. sugar for decoration

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Beat the butter with the sugar.

  2. 2

    Add the eggs one by one, the zest, the liquer and the milk.

  3. 3

    Pour the flour slowly, till you have a rather tight dough. Make a ring with it and put it on baking paper.

  4. 4

    Spread the whisked egg on the bread ring and sprinkle the sugar on the top.

  5. 5

    Put a red egg in the middle.

  6. 6

    Bake in medium temperature for 45 minutes.
