Improvement

Your Contacts page just got a major upgrade!

We've expanded it to now include everyone who has ever scheduled a meeting with you. When someone books a meeting, we'll automatically create a contact record for you.

You can then request to share availability or view their complete meeting history, right from their contact page.

Also, when booking a meeting on behalf of someone, you can now search and select from your existing contacts.

You can now show the phone number field on your booking page without making it required. When you enable "Show phone number field" in your link's Form Fields settings, you'll see a new "Require phone number" toggle that lets you control whether schedulers must provide their phone number or can leave it blank.

This is useful when you'd like to collect phone numbers for follow-up but don't want to create friction for schedulers who prefer not to share them.

There are times when you need to schedule a meeting for someone else, without sending them your public booking link.

With this new feature, you can create meetings directly through a dedicated interface designed for admins and assistants. It gives you special privileges, including the ability to choose any time slot, even those not publicly shown as available.

To use this mode, open any link in the editor and click “Book an event” in the top navigation.

You can now filter the Events page by a fixed date range!

You can now remove attendees from scheduled events! Just click their name from the event page and click "Remove" and we'll send them a notification letting them know the event is canceled (for them).

Improvement

We've made two improvements to link availability overrides:

1. You can now choose to apply a link overrides to all attendees or to a specific attendee. Previously, we always applied all link overrides to all attendees (and there was no explicit all attendees option), which lead to unexpected results with complex links that include multiple attendees.
2. You can now click on individual overrides to modify or delete them. Previously, you could not edit an existing override and you have to highlight override you wish to delete and click "Clear" to remove them.

We hope these improvements make the task of adjusting availability a lot smoother!

New

After an event is scheduled, sometimes life happens and the organizer needs to get reassigned to someone else on the team. Now, you can click the Reassign button at the top upcoming events (that you have permission to manage) to change the organizer.

We'll delete the original calendar event for this meeting, create a new one for the new organizer, and notify the attendees about the change.

Improvement

We've made a few improvements to the custom domains feature based on your feedback. You can now…

1. Show a profile page on the root of your custom domain (book.example.com)
2. Place links directly under the top-level of your domain (book.example.com/chat)
3. Upload a custom favicon for your custom domains

You can now set up custom domains for your SavvyCal booking links (such as meet.yourcompany.com)!

Improvement

When there's a large time zone gap between organizer and scheduler, sometimes folks will mistakenly book at time slot outside of their ordinary working hours (for example, they may accidentally pick 2:00 am instead of 2:00 pm).

To help prevent these bookings, we now display a warning message when the time slot is late at night or early in the morning.
