I am currently a comms consultant and act as a Fractional Head of Comms for hypergrowth businesses – and was previously Global VP / Head of Communications for a range of different tech startups and scale-ups.

What challenge were you trying to address with The PR Network?
In a number of different roles, I have needed to scale communication resources quickly and know that I have a team that can understand the business and add value straight away. I have needed to add expertise in a number of different areas, including media outreach, analyst and influencer relations, digital/social media, multi-market agency management, and strategic oversight. The PR Network has enabled me to do that without having to build the capabilities myself or bring in agencies for each market or discipline.

What was the scope of their involvement?
The PR Network built teams for me when I was running small in-house communication teams with limited resources – and they built those team to reflect what was needed from the communication strategy that I had created. This included raising awareness of the companies and their propositions in key media titles and among key influencers, driving coverage for news announcements, and building the case for differentiation versus the companies' competitors. The team provided full agency support to help me with content creation, media and influencer outreach, thought leadership development, and account management and reporting.
