Our initial goal with Propellic was to develop a much more thorough PPC strategy designed for longterm success and a wider reach to broader international audiences, with a goal ROAS of 10:1. Over the course of our time with Propellic, our projects have expanded to include an extensive PerformanceMax campaign, multiple promotional events, and shifting focus on varying international demographics.

She is also very prompt in notifying us the moment these changes have been made, as well as regular updates on the campaign's performance and recommendations to improve our SERP presence. The scope of work included doing an SEO audit, providing monthly content outlines, and other SEO-related project tasks, such as gathering backlinks, etc. We also hired Propellic more recently to help us in the paid advertising space.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since beginning our work with Propellic, we have seen an increase of over 70% in users and pageviews.  This year, we have seen a 300% increase in pageviews over last year, peaking on certain critical keywords. This has directly impacted overall revenue --- at a time, when many other virtual training and teambuilding companies have shut down, filed for bankruptcy, or reduced staff, we are continuing to grow.

Propellic is consistently on time and very responsive. Our main point of contact (Rebecca) is a phenomenal asset and very receptive to suggestions and modifications. She has helped spearhead our SEO efforts and we are very appreciative of her strategy and approach. We have started working with Propellic's paid media program in the past six months and we have seen less success with that portion of work, but we are still in the testing phase for paid media.

The thing I find most impressive about Propellic is their attention to detail and emphasis on data. As a data-driven company, we really appreciate data-driven approaches rather than relying on best practices, and Propellic consistently uses data to prove its decisions and suggestions regarding strategy.

We're still testing their paid media program (which is a new offering associated with Propellic), and are having less success with this program --- but, we know that it is still in the testing phase, so I can't yet speak to the quality of the paid media program.

Propellic audited the technical SEO of the website according to their robust criteria and provided a well-organised action plan for improving 20+ categories of items, with 1,000+ individual instances across the website. Propellic then moved into a content advisor role and have created new article formats targetting valuable keywords using their proprietary method of data collection and analysis.

Progress can be measured by the improvement of search rankings sitewide and for specific projects. During an isolated test after 2 months of work with Propellic, we found that search rankings had improved 15% for all content whereas content we'd assessed and updated with Propellic improved an additional 15%.

Everything at Propellic is an open book. I was allowed full access to their workflow, and they have been responsive to any questions or data requests. The executed all major projects on time. They were flexible about changing priority in an instance when I requested they pivot attention to get a different project out ahead of another that they had scheduled.

Propellic and Brennen are remarkably candid. Communication was honest. They make a full effort to create value - they're not interested in upselling clients beyond what value they can provide. Brennen, Propellic's Founder and SEO, reached out to my team and I through email. We almost never respond to this type of outreach but his email was short and compelling. We scheduled an initial call and were impressed by the the team's data focused approach and the general know how of their SEO Strategist.

Propellic identified several pages on our site that ranked well but that were not in the top three positions in the SERPs. From there, we winnowed that list down to 11 high impact pages. Agreement in hand, I filled out an intake form and they delivered SEO recommendations for each page. Propellic also meet with our website developers in a constructive back and forth over a handful of Propellic's recommendations.

We are in process of implementing Propellic's full suite of recommendations, so no measurable outcomes in hand yet. However, we received the deliverables on time and were exactly as advertised in our initial call.

Propellic uses a project management system for communications and scheduling. A dedicated project manager scheduled meetings, provided meeting reminders and provided deliverables.

We enjoyed Propellic's transparency. We knew what we were going to get and when we were going to get it. We also appreciated their data driven approach. Rather than charge us for making stock SEO recommendations, they provided us with clear and actionable to- dos that were backed up by data specific to the search terms we targeted.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We're getting into the small points department here, but I think they could have spent just a little more time explaining the why behind their recommendations. I like see the underlying data and it could have been a good opportunity for our team to build our SEO knowledge.

There was quite a bit of technical work that took place right away. PCL performed a full website quality audit and the findings of that helped determine our next steps. The first year of our engagement was really aimed at fixing the overall structure and organization of our website and now we are in more of a growth and keyword acquisition phase.

I have searched through the internet, asked for referrals, and worked with 2 other SEO companies prior to Pixel Cut. I was not happy with the service I was getting and so decided to learn SEO myself. I found this company after a month of DIY-ing our SEO through one of my researches.

I needed an SEO company that was knowledgeable and transparent. But what was also important to me was that we were treated as partners and not just another client in their system because I prefer to be hands-on with the project. I look forward to our bi-weekly meetings where we recap our efforts and discuss next steps that keep our team and theirs on the same page all the time.

I send him one question and he sets up a meeting to further explain something to me. Since implementing our SEO efforts, our website visits have already tripled. Just with optimizations, we are now ranking for 100+ keywords for already existing products! SEO is a long and, often, slow process but because the process is so transparent, I know we are on the right track and am confident that we are building on good foundations that will set us up for success in the years to come.

They deliver in a timely manner and are attentive to details. Their project management tool keeps communication efficient and organized but the project manager (Lissie) is the one who really makes us feel taken care of.

Aside from their overall knowledge in the industry, they have invested in the best tools to make sure that their clients get the best chance at ranking in search. They don't do "best practices". They use the best software out there and apply their expertise to create a personalized strategy for their clients.

I am very happy with my experience and could not ask for anything better. Signing with them was one of the best decisions we have made for our company.

I hired PCL to optimize our website and content for additional search traffic and conversions.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A close friend had worked with PCL on his own website for a very difficult, targeted keyword and had fantastic results. I had worked with another SEO agency in the past and was very impressed by PCL's process and attention to detail. It was well-structured, methodical and demonstrated a level of expertise I have not seen from the list of agencies I've worked with in the past on various projects.

PCL started with a website quality audit and a 98-element website technical audit. PCL then introduced me to a fantastic website developer but still managed the whole implementation of the technical recommendations. PCL did a very deep website content analysis and keyword research and provided spreadsheets for me to use as resources in the future. PCL also completed on-page recommendations for products, collections, etc.

Next, PCL worked on optimizing our existing website content by providing detailed instruction sheets for our writer or making the changes directly on the website for us. Lastly, they provided incredibly in-depth and easy-to-understand instructions for our writer to create new, targeted content for the keywords/strategy we chose to target in our prior analyses. In the middle of all of this I made the decision to switch domains and PCL managed the entire migration process with the developer.

I am interfacing primarily with a project manager, a lead SEO analyst, and the owner of the agency.

Over the two months since our domain migration our daily search impressions have increased by a factor of 13 and are already 25% higher than we had on our old domain.

The process of working with PCL is how a business manager would envision working with an agency SHOULD look like, but is never actually the case after the initial sales pitch. PCL had a very structured timeline for completing the audits and research very shortly after kicking the contract. Deadlines and expectations were set in a calendar, and most importantly, they were achieved on-time and with a thoroughness I had not seen before.

The project as a whole was managed through a cloud interface that housed the schedule, research and audit results, messaging functionality, as well as any other deliverables. It was intuitive and easy to use.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

PCL is quite literally the SEO agency you have been searching for. They will exceed your expectations on deliverables and impress you with their processes and expertise. SEO is a daunting project and PCL made it very easy to understand and implement. The project was 10 times easier than I expected it to be because PCL handled almost everything. I would (and do) recommend Brennan and his team to anyone.
